This is my very first attempt at .mdx/.mdl editing. It's largely a skin model, but I removed the ears, some of the plating around the face and added a Hero glow. The skin is a combination of CnP and freehand.

I think its a great model, would work well in alot of maps.
One thing: make a version off the tiger.

Thanks for the comments everyone! A dismounted huntress (i.e a watcher) is one of the next models I'm working on...but for that one I'm going to try geomerging, which is something I have yet to try. Yeah, the icon really lost a bunch of it's shading effects when I crushed to down to 64x64...the original version is in the art section.

actualy yur not obligated to have a hero glow. if u dont want it, dont import 'units\Glow.mdx'

However if you put the two skins side by side...the resemblance on ceretain sections was a "little" more then uncanny...right down to the 1 pixel white glare I did in the blue border around the pupil of the eye... :? :?

3-Ghost in the shell isnt nudity when they dont dray the nipples and the line for the p**** so technically not nudity and if it is allowed as my wallpaper on my comp at colledge...

The skin is nice except the tiger. The tiger got a very strange unnatural nyance of yellow. The colour should be brighter and look a bit more dirty (not much but not like it just has taken a bath). The claws of the tiger also look strange.

The icon is good except that it more looks like art. It does not really fit with the other icons. I don't really think it needs more shading for being art...but for an icon it does need more shading so it works well with other icons.

Well...totally I give it 4/5

To fix the shading issue,just lower the tint to about 145,145,145 and you get yourself a darker skinned rider and a bit better color on the tiger.Perfect in a jungle map.

is it possible to remove the glow? I really need a cavalry model for my elfs (you cant see the ears so it doesn't matter that this is suppose to be a human), but I can't have them looking like heroes.

but Im guessing either im not getting the path right, or the link/file is corrupted

I tried (Reloading the WE too)

I imported in campaign page, so any solutions? (Been importing a lota stuffs and havent met a stubborn one like this before)
