How to run the world editor on VirtualBox or Wine?

You will need to install wine.

Installing Wine on Mac | David Baumgold

Then you can run programs like the World Editor with the wine command. For example, type "wine worldedit.exe" in the terminal. You can probably also right click the exe and open with Wine.

The editor is a bit slow in Wine and the toolbar is black. I would just install Windows through bootcamp on your mac for full compatibility.
