How to merge two models

So I have downloaded a cape model and a goblin unit model and I want the goblin to wear the cape.

I tried following different tutorials, and download all kinds of tools while doing it but still made no progress at all.

Any help on doing this?

You have to use a model software like MAYA or BLENDER and copy paste those models yourself if you want to merge but remember to give credits

If you're lucky you might be able to attach it to a unit.
