How to make models "lock" to camera

I have no idea how to explain this but how do you get a model to lock to your current camera angle?

*example* the arcane sanctum orbs look like orbs but are infact sprites how do i make something like that work?

That's called a billboarded plane. It's a 2 dimensional image on a flat model which has a specific property that makes it always face the camera, giving the illusion it is actually round.
