[General] How to make it so you can stack buildings?

That does not work for me, as it still wants the buildings some distance away from each other.

It still won't let you build on top of another unit with collision, unless that building can be built on like a gold mine. But in that case the unit you build on it will replace the unit being built on until it's destroyed.

In the Object Editor look at Pathing - placement requires and you can untick buildable. Also there is a place in Stats - Can be built on, and Stats - Can build on. Set these to true for all the buildings you want on top of each other. Make sure they have their Pathing map set to None also.

To reiterate:

It still won't let you build on top of another unit with collision, unless that building can be built on like a gold mine. But in that case the unit you build on it will replace the unit being built on until it's destroyed.

If you use the "Can build on/Be built on" fields, the built-on unit will replace the base unit. You won't be able to see or select it until the built-on unit is destroyed, just like a haunted/entangled gold mine.
