how to get campaign maps (to edit them)

i have seen tons of people do it and i want to know how you are supposed to get the campaign maps from frozen throne

If you want to bonus its under:
C:<Where you installed it?>\Warcraft III\Campaigns
If you want others just google it

With any proper MPQ editor you can just extract those maps (campaign ones) from Warcraft3 folder and enter with normal WE.

use MPQ editor open war3 MPQ (i think long imte since i did it) extract it and open the extracted campaign with campaign editor

IMO the easiest way is to get Magos Model Editor, go to Windows-->MPQ Browser then go to Filters and tik None then go to Filters again and tik Maps and then go to File and click on War3xLocal.mpq and right click-->extract the maps you want

TIP: There are some Campaign maps at War3Patch.mpq

Thats great guys that you repeat 'exptract map' fraze - but I'm pretty sure that after reading it once @whewhe will get how to do it.
@xorkatoss Man, if you want to know there is no difference between extracting the map and actually EXTRACTING the map =)

Magos does the same job as any MPQ editor, I use both methods ofen.

yeah but with magos you get a faster access to the wc3 mpq, that can save about 5 sec of your time *_*
