How to create corpses that wont disappear?

    Hi guys i need some help by you.
    I want to make a cinematic.The cinematic will be...
    A ghoul is getting feeded with a corpse and when somebody sees that the ghouls is fleeing to (somewhere)
    My problem is that i cannot create a corpse which will last forever and will not disappear.
    PLS someone explain me how tnx

    It could be as simple as this:

    • Untitled Trigger 001
      • Events
        • Time - Elapsed game time is 0.00 seconds
      • Conditions
      • Actions
        • Animation - Play Footman 0004 <gen>'s death animation
        • Unit - Pause Footman 0004 <gen>


    Without knowing more exactly how do you want it to look. What unit is this corpse? Do you want some bones to show?

    ok here's what it happens.A group(red controled by me)Founds a cart,some peasants dead near it and some ghouls feasting upon their corpses.But this is gona be cinematic.You know the corpses last about 20 secs and then disappear.Thats what i want to change

    more simple

    Ok more simple.I want to create a corpse that will last.You know what i mean
    A unit dies,it leaves a corpse,a ghoul is canibalising the corpse,and the corpse disappears.Thats what i want to change

    Set the owner of the units to neutral passive and playe their decay bone animation. Don't actually kill them.
    • Animation - Play Peasant 0005 <gen>'s decay bone animation

    How about canibalize? Ghouls need bodies to start the ability.

    One solution is to change corpse decay time in Advanced -> gameplay constants to some high value. But then that applies to all units.

    There's a trigger that creates a corpse (just make the corpses appear when the cinematic plays although I thinks corpses created by the trigger stay forever) then the ghouls can eat the corpse easy peasy GL.

    theres a "create permanent corpse" action.

    If it's just a cinematic, it doesn't matter if the ghouls actually regain health...

    So just trigger them to play their spell animation or whatever the tag is for their cannibalize ability.

    alpha's right, and that couple with the create corpse action can pretty much equal your cinematic

    change the ghouls health to a lower number so that you can easily order them to cannibalize. Yes, you can also go to "game constants" and change the seconds a flesh body will take to vanish, or you can "create permanent <flesh> corpse"(dunno how's written in english) via trigger.

    can't you just make the Ghouls play the animation every few seconds?

    EDIT:didn't read alpha's post. Whoops.

    i would change how much life the ghoul cannibalizes per second to 1 and set the max life cannibalized to 9999.

    "Suspend corpse decay for (The unit before killing it)" when killed, the corpse wont dissepear

    Simple as that ( god i hope it works now! )

    Maybe there is a problem, that when a ghoul stops canibalising on a corpse (no matter how much "life" the corpse has) it instantly removes it. Knowing this I would support the:
    • Animation - play Fancy Ghoul's stand chanel animation.

    NOTE: Stand chanel is the canibalise animation.
