[Spell] How do you Reset Cooldowns for only specific abilities?

Hi, i have a spell that will reset the cooldown of some of my hero's abilities. The spell ONLY reset 2 of the 4 abilities, one of them being a spell i dont want people to spam, and the otehr being this spell itself.

So how would i reset the cooldown for ONLY some abilities?

In case the abilities in question are not currently being casted, just remove and readd them. Since you are probably speaking of hero abilities and you do not want to mess up the skill menu, make the hero learn dummy abilities there instead that are based on Channel (ANcl) and turn their visibility option flag off. When the dummy ability is learned/leveled, add/upgrade the right one for the hero.

Does that work? Because I know if you do that with items it continues the cooldown, not reset it.

Yes it works with abilities. For items, I'm not sure.
