I got this cliff doodad model from the Ulimate Terraining Map and there is just too much polys that causes lag in-game. Is there any way I can reduce the poly? I am aware of a filter in blender that you just drag and drop on the model to instantly reduce them, however, I have no idea where to start with mdx.

If anyone can just do a significant reduction I would also appreciate that. This model is used in abundance within my map. MDX attached below.

Import to 3dsmax, export it as obj, import that blender. Or you can try the blender mdx import script.
Although I believe that “optimize” wont be really helping. Better just retopology the model :p
