How do I make ranged units have more range?

I figured I would throw this in, the range is actually limited by the Acquisition Range. Make sure the Acquisition Range is greater than the range and you shouldn't have any problems.

EDIT: Oops I was completely wrong, this is right^^ Even with 3000 range unit can't attack further than aquisition range.

I just tested it. The Acquisition Range needs to be longer than the actual Attack Range. I tried it with a Rifleman with 20000 attack range, 600 Acquisition Range, and he had to run up to the target (iseedeadpeople was on, so I could see everything), and then tried it with the Acquisition Range also bumped up to 20000, and he could shoot across the map.
