How do I get the amount of damage done?

A unit attacks a unit. How do I get the amount of damage done to the attacked unit? I want to display it in a floating text.

Is there any way to round up/down the damage taken to a solid number in the floating text? Not 30.398, but 30?

to be honest, i never use DDS before
what about changing the real number into integer?
for example:

• Unit - Set life of (Triggering unit) to (Real(30))

this is untested though

Keep in mind that changing reals to integers will always round the number down. You could do real damage, but display integer value of the damage dealt.
