How do i change a hero ability req level?

How do i change a hero ability req level ?
maximum req level on a Hero ability is 10 but i want to make more.

go to advanced-gameplay constants . then edit hero-max level to w/e you want , and try again ^^

i already have hero max level 500

Works for me, I set it to 8363 without anything weird popping up.

I didn't even have to shift+click.

That's strange...you're sure it won't go above 10? I just tried that and managed to get a hero skill's required level to 10000 by double-clicking the variable then then changing the number.

Have you tried closing the world editor and then starting up the program again, or restarting your computer?
