Okay , just saw that theres a new game released by ... Blizzard.
Ive also notice that Starcraft , Warcraft and Diablo Heroes are here, what makes it moar interesting...

Any comments or information about this?

Well to start with I would put this post in the General Gaming Section.

But onto what I think of the game, during BlizzCon we saw a few champions in gameplay such as Abathur and Arthas. We also saw that the envoirement was going to play a much bigger role than in games such as LoL and that there was no personal experience being gained since characters like Abathur would not work if that was the case and I must say it sounds ineresting, Blizzard is daring with their moba game and they seem to be making it a lot diffrently than the already existing moba games which in my personall opinion probably will serve them well since they seem like fascinating changes, but i can only say for certain once I've tested the game out for myself.

This is an entirely separate game. I am guessing it is based on the SC2 engine if you look at the editors used in other trailers but is not the SC2 engine. For one it might be running asynchronously for less latency.

Awesome the cinematic trailer was, it is clear it is a low budget operation. They only had Raynor voice acted which lost a lot of the potential awesomeness it could have had. Having Kerrigan shout something at Raynor and Diablo mumbling something would have really added a lot. Let us not forget Nova and Tyrael and Arthras, all of which have voice actors in the games they are from yet were mute in the cinimatic.

In any case the game is sounding pretty awesome, I only hope there is some non fully competitive mode to mess around in.

Awesome. Blizzard CG movies are still pure sex.

This is like something I always imagined (and dreamed) as a child. Mashing Starcraft and Warcraft 3 together and throwing Diablo 2 into the mash and ensue chaos.

The version of Diablo shown was the Diablo III version where as in game it is the Diablo II version. It is obvious that they just ordered they mash up all the cinematic models they made into a short, independent of what is actually in game.

Okay, I'll get back to the main topic, from what it sounds, it seems cool, might worth trying this one when I'm out of WC III Modding or got bored and ain't get interest at anything.

That hook skill is already on 3 games (DOTA, DOTA2, I forgot the name of the last one) and maybe more. I hope they create something a little different this time. Anyway, that trailer is sweet and the gameplay and graphics looks really awesome. From the looks of it, it really is worth playing and spending some cash on. Getting it for free would be better (but I doubt it)

I really like that they are going to add separate battlegrounds--it is the thing that really separates it from the other MOBA games (not that I play DotA2 or LoL, but I assume they are only AoS's). It has great potential. Imagine a CtF game in it!

I'm not quite sure. I don't exactly know how it would fit in a non-competitive mode--I assume you don't have characters like in WoW/Diablo. And while there is a background storyline (pulled into a nexus), I doubt they'll do much to advance it; it'd be silly. I'm guessing it is going to be oriented purely around PvP (like Hearthstone is, AFAIK). I'm sure it'll be fun for quick PuG's when you're bored.

Well considering other AoS games (the correct term, not the nonsense advertising dreams up) ban you for not trying hard enough or for trash talk, it is about time someone breaks the ice and reminds people they are here to have fun.

I played Super Smash Brothers not because it was a super competitive fighting game, but because it was a laugh to mess around in. I have a feeling this is aimed more towards that aspect.

Yea, considering that they risked breaking the pattern with Hearthstone and that payed of I would say that Blizzard wants to break the pattern again and I must say taking a step back from competitive gameplay especially when we're talking about moba games could only aid their economy, because lets face it there is probably no gaming community in the world that is as f***ed up as the moba community.

League of Legends had a CTF-like mode called Dominion (more of a node capture like in unreal tourney). It's actually my personal favorite game-type. It also has a single lane game-type (which really changes the dynamic of the game) and a 3v3 version of the normal AoS. Just an FYI since you didn't know.

I'm excited for this if, and only if, they make bots that can actually provide some degree of challenge. Which does seem like a long shot.

Well then, who shall be the one to organize it? I know at least 2 more people who'd probably join and I'll ask them as soon as something gets posted. I, for one, would recommend the blizzard format - 3 decks, when a deck loses, it's out for the duration of the match. The first person to defeat all 3 decks of his opponent wins the match and moves on in the bracket?
