Yeah. Hosted Projects.
It seems to me like there's no one in charge of hosted projects anymore, so...
Perhaps it's about time we get ourselves one of 'em "Project Directors"?

Admins/Directors decide which projects are hosted and which ones get moved to where, each project is moderated by its own creators/mods.

Looks fine to me as well... if projects were actually moderated.
For example, it took one hell of a long for the brain-lagging staff to upgrade D3W from hosted forum -> hosted project, but eventually they did, much thanks too Poot reminding them many times, and now he's gone...

Agreed completely, but it should be someone already on the staff, seeing as the Hosted Projects aren't the forums' most active section.

And while we're at it, let's get rid of that forum or at least change the name.

Yes, doesn't need to be someone that's super-active or anything, but someone that's a decent map reviewer and that'll actually get the job done, and regarding the hosted forums, yes, they do need new names or something, although I'd much more prefer if they were just removed.

A project needs a certain level of buzz if we want it to become a hosted project.

I've never even slightly implied it doesn't, all I'm saying is that not even those projects with the needed "buzz" have a chance at hosting these days.

Honestly, I don't think they should have to. Their project should be offered a promotion.

Well we don't even have a dev director at the moment. Getting another one of those should come before adding more hosted projects.
