Hold a button to autocast

Is it possible to hold a button to auto-cast a spell?

What I'm trying to do is to make a person continuously shoot a spell/ability as long as the button is pressed down.

You can only detect the release of arrow keys, not other keys.

As Maker said, you can only detect the continous activity of "holding a certain key" with this Event:

• Events
  • Player - Player 1 (Red) Presses the Up Arrow key

To turn that trigger off (to stop shooting), use this:

• Events
  • Player - Player 1 (Red) Releases the Up Arrow key

In WC3, you will probably have to change the mechanic as it is just impossible.

It is possible in SC2 though if you really must make the idea.
