Hiveworkshop Art Contest

I was thinking about maybe making a contest for hive art. To replace our current. Cause I am sure that some of you can do much better than that.
The first images that came to my mind were these:

The award for this one would be 80 rep.

The award for this would be 40 rep.

What exactly is...the hive though? Whats its theme?

the subject would be warcraft 3 and we want at least the string "hive" to appear on the image.
We want these two images, both gif and same resolutions.

It should eventually take place, but it won't be in this thread.
