Because the old version had more features!
The search funktion sucks so hard it's unbelievable...

Even if things look like a confusing and disorganized mess (and I miss the old Hive), but I have to say it is a necessary evil. Because vBulletin and the vBSEO (and some other stuffs) have security issues.

I will miss the Social Groups, but for the security of Hive I can do nothing but accept this chaosy mess...

If there were security probs in the past, than i will be able to understand the the changes to 2.0.
sry 4 my hard words, but i was angry about the resources search system.

Ralle and Archian have already mentioned that the site we are looking at right now isn't final. The resource search system is indeed troublesome for now but surely, Ralle and the others will do something about it. Things that look disorganized will be organized one by one. Just be patient and wait for the improvement because everyone is doing their best to make the site more comfortable. As for the confusion, you'll get used to it and no longer get confused. Just take your time.

and demand a return to Hive 1 despite the fact that Ralle uses his spare time to create

This doesn't change the fact that people have a right to insult Ralle's work, does it?
Hell, even if it will (hopefully) never happen, Ralle could REMOVE the entire website if he wanted.
Despite everything, it is HIS site, afterall.

I don't have a problem with people giving suggestions to improve things, we all do that,
but I have a problem with people who are just complaining

An upgrade was needed for several reasons.

Note, also, that the old site had close to 12 years of work built into it to fine-tune every aspect of the site,
this new one is in it's infancy state. Ralle has been and is currently working hard to make it as smooth and
hospitable a home as the old hive was, please be patient.

Hopefully, the end result will be even better than the old site.
