Some users were talking about high res skins for warcraft models. What did they mean? Is not the size (resolution) of the skin fixed for each model? A different skin size would probably screw the unwrap (I think).
No it merely creates a bigger file size. High rez skins don't often look as good as low res skins ingame because the skins are usually too detailed for the models. People will often increase the resolution and then decrease it (after working on it of course) to allow them to create a cleaner looking skin.
