Reinitialize the cursor after relative mode?

Hello, first post here, lurker since '03?... I know you guys are the best, so maybe I can have some council.

I am currently new to map making, but, I am a fast learner. I already scripted a pretty decent nearly infinite projectile tracking script. However, I ran into some problems, I don't think I can fix.

Firstly, enabling the mouse during relative mode. It seems to disable it completely even if I write a function for it to reinitialize. Perhaps there is a method of running a UI overlap, or configuring a new library, anything? I am willing to put the time into learn. Any direction would be appreciated.

Secondly, IgnoreTerrainZ

I don't quite understand setting the flag, when I tell a unit to be created at a certain z point, it still will stay at a 0.0 height. Is there a way to make this setting changeable once activated through data stats-flag on a unit. Or, perhaps I am not triggering it correctly.
