Help with converting a bunch of icons.

Hey,

I need a way to convert 696 icons from BMP to BLP. I know wc3 viewer has a batch function, but it doesn't work with BMP's. I could do them one by one, but that would take me hours, if not days.

Look in your wc3viewer folder and unzip the file called "blpcon". That can batch bmps i think, just drag and drop.

input can be a TGA or a BLP, output a TGA or a BLP

That's my problem. I guess i could batch convert them to tga, and try.

Wc3 Image Renamer doesn't that work for both converting mass icons at once AND for BMP? I am not completely sure though, but it's worth a try.

It works for converting BMP's and for converting mass, but not both at once. Well, converted my icons to tga, and then mass converted to blp, and it works now.

EDIT: Misread your post rage, but i tried using wc3ir, but failed miserably.
