Help with attaching one map's qualities to another

ahmm.. first of all.. hello all
this site really made me explore further game play variations in wc3

and thank your imagination for it. members of the hive contain an unlimited amount of it.

now.. for the question..
i'm pretty new to all of the world editor functions but getting there.

is there a way of importing large variety of abilities\buffs\units etc'.. from one map to another?

i see plenty of people upload a whole map file downloadable for multiple spelling\units and abilities. it's kind of a drag manually copying&pasting while switching between maps...

sorry for the noobish question.. i try to find my answers on tutorials most of the time.

File - Export object data

in your map
object editor
File - import object data

If you want to keep your data in map
Get Jass NewGen Pack
open its WE
do the part 1 again
in your map Grimoire -> Merge object data

alright i can see what you mean.. by doing so simply on wc3 editor i'll loose my data?
thats kinda foolish.. isnt there another way?

trying the JASS way atm..

alright so i use the JASS editor as instructed.. ordering it to save all object data. the editor automatically saved file under a *.w3o ending..
switching to targeted map made me find it there is no way of merging files of that kind.
*w3o ending wasnt under any option i had with merging...
found an alternate way of importin it regardless of the file's ending and JASS importer wrote an software failure.

after i tried doing it manually with buffs alone.. containing a *w3h ending.. jass imported WELL and declared successful but no new buffs were implanted.

thanks for all help i can get.. sorry for the trouble for such thing.

anyways, tried every possible way of merging *w3o file through the JASS editor.. cant seem to find the problem.

alright i know this is kind of a bump but i tried making it happen in every way i could think of.. i think thats a basic function which i cant perform for some reason.
is there any other way of attaching complete spells from one map to another?

merging *w3o files just doesnt seem to work.. unfortunetlly :[
