How to make mini-map black

Hello i need help! this will seem like a noobish question but how do i make my mini-map black for all the areas i havent explored??? i enabled black mask and fog of war already, but that doesnt seem to do the trick... please help

just go to scenario at the top, then map options, then uncheck "masked areas are partially visible"
