Help needed! Game Interface Skin

Hello everyone, please anyone who knows how to make game interface skin, don't be lazy and make one skin for me that I really need, I want it to be World Of Warcraft style like this, those two eagles and stuff...

XP bar should work like wow (it shouldn't be hard because heroes have XP bar in WC 3 usually) and those bag pockets on right should work as the pockets in WC 3, and the pockets for skills on the left should work as skills in WC3 that's on right in WC, and in the middle where is hero settings, there should be placed settings on the game attached to icons and not to letters that are near clock in WC3, and map should be in right corner like in WOW if thats possible like this...

and clock should be shrinked and attached on that minimap where is shown day and night on right of minimap (in WOW and in previous picture)...


so please don't be lazy and do it for me if possible, I need it VERY MUCH! thanks for attention, hope you'll reply to my request

It's a high complex coding neccessary that can take months to be created.

WTF? You'd have to alter the Warcraft III source code in order to change the interface to be like WoW.

Besides the fact that what you're asking is impossible (outside of actually modifying the Warcraft III code), it's also a shit-ton of work that would take ridiculously long to do.

I really hope that "don't be lazy" was just because you'r english is bad, b/c if you really think anybody will help you with ANY request after saying that then you're sadly mistaken.

what's bad in "don't be lazy"? I just meant that "if you can do it but it takes lots of work, please do it if you can because I don't know a person who would do that so you're... I don't know how to say... "may be only hope...(?)"

so, about the thread, I saw many of talented texturers making game intrerface skins in Texturing Contest #18 so I don't get it why it's impossible? just delete top part of skin and place WOW skin and then put pocket paths... is that impossible? I didn't want exact copy...

anyone in? if someone knows how to do that and is just lazy, that's ok, just tell me where those skins are in WC3 to replace them and I'll do it...

P.S.sorry if I'm bugging you guys with repeating thing that is impossible...

you PM'd me for a skinning request about this particular idea. My answer to you, is no. As this is no simple skin that needs to be done. as you have failed to listen to these people who are quite right, this can only be done by extreme coding and such...
Plus. the limits to the alpha channels wouldn't even allow a custom UI that low on the screen. so simply, "cutting the top part out" is not going to work whatsoever. So don't bug anyone if you don't even have the knowledge of what it is you need to do in order to successfully produce your idea. Thank You

You mean the picture in the very first post?

That's actually a Diablo 3 screenshot. Warcraft 3 only allows us to replace the current user-interfaces (human, night elf, undead, and orc) based on their set-up. We can't actually make one of our own from scratch or change where any of the data is shown. ^-^

now I got it... thanks anyway and one more thing, can anyone teach me how to replace those textures? to change pictures and colors and stuff... if it's not so hard, I'm playing WC3 since it came out, I was like 5 or 6 that time and now I'm 15 but I don't know many things about it...

At first you will have to learn how to extract things from the mpq data.

For this check this tutorial by Debode:

Then you have to locate all of the UI textures.
You can find them all here:
UI\Console\Human\HumanUITile01.blp

Export them as .tga or else the Alpha Channels (Transparency) get lost.

Now open the .tga file in an image editing program.
(Like Photoshop or free GIMP)

Now you can edit the UI texture to your wishes.

This kind of system isn't impossible, but it needs a shit load of work. As long as you can detect the X/Y of your Camera Source (which is possible in GUI), you can constantly move destructables/images to specific positions. And then there's the terrain and doodads that will clash with it though. You probably don't know what I'm talking about...
But, it is impossible to make it with just a simple UI edit, and the phrase 'don't be lazy' is like asking a guy for $1000, 000 and telling him 'don't be greedy'.

I advise you. It's Best to do some research before you starting asking something in such desperate and ignorant manner. Basically it piss people off.

i dont know. where I come from, asking people repeated for something that cannot be done is called being annoying. i dont know about the PMs but from what i see in the thread is pretty mildly annoying.

Cut him some slack, he is new, you shouldn't treat new users like that, it is true. If he PMs you, just tell him to stop or report him instead of going to his thread and calling him a *, then expecting him to not retaliate. Besides, as said, he is new and does not know better. Insulting him will only provoke him.
You can tell he's not a @-@ @ from the above post, as he acknowledges this. He just didn't know it was hard for users to make a custom UI.

I advise moving to SC2 if you want a WoW interface, there you can actually do stuff like that with triggers.
