I have been composing some music on the computer. I have some pretty good ideas but I'm really struggling to put it on paper because I don't know what the instruments I'm thinking of are called and therefore can't include them in the composition.

If you can look through certain clips at the given time, can you identify them for me please?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4izl7DgWNmc (0:24) - It must be an artificial instrument because the sound doesn't diminish in dynamics. It sustains retaining full volume. Bass guitars get quieter with time. Any ideas?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz7INAiBXhA (0:51) - The deep sounding intrument providing the bass. Brass instrument perhaps?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz7INAiBXhA (1:00) - Same video. The powerful instrument starting at 1 minute. Provides the melody. I'm not talking about the backing violins or the bass.

That's it for now, but I'll probably ask more another time. Would be greatly appreciated if you could help me out. Thanks.

Hey, I got a keyboard and i tested how I can get "near" these sounds,

The first link has to be something electronic like a Pad, for example very low played "Dunes" pad or maybe also a WAVE-sound (electronic).
Link: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/pastebin_data/k2apn5/_files/Audio_001.wav
FIRST: PORTATONE (Pad)
SECOND: GOLDENAGE (Wave-Pad)

The second is totally no brass intrument, Brass instrument scratch when you play them deep has to be something like synthstring.
Link: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/pastebin_data/xvpi4k/_files/Audio_002.wav
FIRST: Synthstrings2 higher
SECOND: Synthstrings2 lower

The last one can be a drum, for orchestra i think, but I dont have this sound :/

The names of the sounds are the names like in my keyboard Yamaha PSR S900

I hope i could help :)
