Hello everyone,
I am finalizing my campaign (see link in my signature) and am looking for some new special effects and icons to polish the look a bit. Given how many there are to choose from, I'm hoping people here might be able to point me to in the right direction and winnow down my list before I take the long dive into the model section and go page by page looking.
Here is what I'm looking for:
SPECIAL EFFECTS:
1. Beastform ability. This shamanistic hero ability turns an allied unit into their beastform (i.e. a raptor, bee, spider, or other animal). It also creates a soulpost (a ward-type unit) that stores their human soul while in beastform. In sum, it hides the unit and replaces it with one animal and a soulpost. I need:
ICONS
1. Jousting ability set. I need a set of icons for a wolf-rider type character. This is for a mini-game where you ride around. I need icons for the following abilities, preferably with the same color:
3. Petrify (brown or grey). This is a geomancer spell that turns an enemy unit to stone.
4. Magnetic rock (brown or grey). Another geomancer spell. This ability summons a magnetic rock at a target point, that pulls enemy arrows aside, lowering ranged damage.
5. Sandstorm (brown). Another geomancer spell (grey or brown preferred). This spell creates a small sandstorm at a target point, disorienting enemy units and making them attack nothing. The sandstorm looks like the falling dust model in WC3 except reversed (i.e. the dust rises from the ground).
6. Lamune's Dazzling Scouts (light blue or teal theme). This aquamancer spell summons 30 sparkling bubbles that zip around the map scouting for the unit (based off of the Locust Swarm ability).
7. Water Barrier (light blue or teal theme). Another aquamancer ability. This ability summons a circular waterfall (like Niagra Falls) at a target point, preventing movement.
8. Tri-bow. This icon is for both an upgrade and ability. It allows a crossbow wielding archer to fire three arrows instead of one. These are fired in a large arc (like artillery) rather than straight at a target.
9. Arkon's grasp (green theme). This spell shoots a green lightning bolt at the target and then surrounds them in a hand-like matrix.
10. Arcane Armaments (green theme). This spell summons a unit's shield and helm, and enchants their sword with a sparkling green effect. The unit raises their hand in the air when they cast it (like He-Man).
11. Consecrate (blue/cold theme). This spell is used by priests to consecrate corpses, removing them from the battle so that enemies cannot resurrect them.
12. Volley. This spell is cast by an airship and fires about 40 arrows into a target area.
13. Set Snares. This spell puts a snare on the ground. The trap looks like the Blizzard spike traps.
That's all. Please don't expend too much effort on this; but if you know a good one please throw it my way. I'm going to do another round of play testing and then I'll be hunting through the resources tab myself.

- a special effect to play when the unit reverts to human form
- a model for the soulpost. I'm currently using the truesight ward
- an icon for the soulpost
- an icon for the Beastform ability
- a special effect to play on the Witch when she casts the "Brew Venom" ability (prefer: red, but I can recolor most models if needed)
- a special effect to play on the priest
- an icon to go with the spell
