help – error opening map

Hi guys i need some help got error in the map iam working on pls help i have no clue whatit is cauz i only want to balance the map ( iam not the map author)

The Map you are trying to open in the World Editor with an error message is indeed Protected, please be advise map's redone/re-polish by other people's works without permission is not allowed.

Since 'working on' is a present tense it might indicate that you've already opened it. Have you? Or, is it opening issues at all?

Nice try Mythic but I prefer this one:

"map iam working on" + "iam not the author"
Is that actually possible?

Maybe he's not the author but he's working on the map.

Though it's most likely a protection issue, he still hasn't posted the error image.

I think you should change "working on" to "want to start working on".
Your best bet is to contact the map owner, we can't help ya from deprotecting the map. If we did, what's stopping you from just inserting yer own cheats into the map?
