[Campaign] Haven Saga Alpha Demo

Hey I've been making campaigns here and there mostly unfinished and a lot of em lost since I got a laptop(the other one broke :<) and lost all of my campaigns, so now I've started another project! with 2 of the 4 playable races Finished, here is a demo of the campaign it only has one mission and needs more work but the base gameplay is there and I'm mainly seeing how you guys feel the difficulty would it be better for it to be harder or easier? Constructive criticism only (not including the missing cinematics)

Army's Include:
Legrasse kingdom (Similar to the Base Human Race)
Ironforged Confederacy (Guns, Tanks, and Worgen)
Elven Alliance ( Bloodelfs-ish Engineer Tanks Artillery, and Base High elves-ish)
Umbrith (Basically just Zerg race from sc2 but with differences and some other creeps and yeah)

Mission 1 only includes Basic Forces of the Umbrith, Legrasse, and Confederacy



Update 1: Mission 1 fully complete and reasonably difficult, mission 2 70% done with ending cinematic and balancing issues on difficulty, ai and making it hard but not absurdly hard to fit the theme of desperation and hopelessness.

unit buffs: Umbrith Titan - Slightly buffed stats should hopefully feel more like an unstoppable powerhouse
unit nerfs: Falcon Artillery - significantly reduced range from 5000 -> 3000, Atk cd from 10 seconds to 9 seconds to compensate, aoe reduced, too much friendly fire

Update 2: Minor Changes, Mission 1 is fully complete, Mission 2 is missing the final boss segment but using vision cheats show the boss unit, Ai is wonky and is 100% unbalanced for now, added 2 new structures for the umbrith.(I really need someone else aside from me to see how hard mission 1 n 2 is) ADDED CUSTOM LOADING SCREENS YAY

Problem: Mission 2 feels way too much? the more that i look at it the more im disliking the map design of mission 2

You might want to use the new version of the models. Warcraft 3 Custom Models
Despite them being in pending they work without a hitch in-game and personally I like the new version way better.
 
Very cool use of @General Frank's models, as well as nice design on the human faction (although I'd change up those wizards). I'll check this out when I have time!
Thanks! the wizard model is a place holder for now as I'm conflicted on elemental wizards that use multiple elements or single element wizards which does also affect the campaign's 2nd playable hero.

These models look great! I'll probably add the nurse as a healer unit alongside the soldier's learnable ability of a single use medkit.
The sturnn commander and supreme overseer looks perfect for hero units with the white worgen model (I haven't added hero glow yet) looking at these models I might actually just make the grenadier be able to upgrade into some of these models like how zerg morph into better units! adding the landser and the marksman as a siege damage and sniper(chaos?) morph for it, and for the storm grenadier a "troll berserker"ish upgrade into a sturnn grenadier! so many ideas just popped into my head ah.

Heh, good idea.
I wanted to redo and improve the lycan models in the beginning of next year so it might also be of interest for you. :)

Also great job on fleshing out some story line and tech tree.
 
Mission 1 is doable, but there are a number of issues.

Loading screen should not use white letters on white background, one of those needs to change.

Unit icons have no disbtns.

Several upgrades are seen but unavailable.

The hint about the village towers plays every single time a unit goes through it.

I managed to kill the first ultralisk at the cost of the hero and many of my units, but since you don't get anything to truly counter it I just avoided the following one.

Transport should not have a model with a gun if it can't attack.

Victory message plays twice.

Finishing the mission takes you back to the campaign selection menu rather than the campaign menu.


Didn't finish the second mission, but a lot of the issues are the same.

Level should have a faster start (you don't even have an Altar).

Why is the hero depowered?
