Halo 3: Recon

The rumors have finally been answered, the teasers confirmed

The new bungie game is "Halo 3: Recon". You play as an O.D.S.T Recon marine, it acts as a prologue to Halo 3 and is coming out Fall 2009.

It is not In fact, a download-able content from Xbox live market place. It is a full retail game.

No more 3 meter jumping, super shield absorbing super soldiers...

New game play elements, hopefully.

That sucks. What I loved in Halo, was that 3 meter high jumping, super shields, and super soldiers. The game was super. Not so super anymore.

_I_ for one am pumped as shit. I really hope stealth will play a big role in the game. Can't wait.

Found this while searching today.

Obviously, Halo 3 Recon will be an Open world game where you roam around New mombasa, finding the locations of your 4 other squad mates. Upon reaching their last known area or w/e, you get a flash back and play an entire level as them to see what happened to them.
