Gladiatus

Introduction

This map is called Gladiatus. It is a small RPG placed in city of Rome. You fight in arena like a gladiator. Its one RPG so it has a quests whose you get from the people in the city like a bar man, trainer, market...

As i say the map has a main city (Rome) with barn, arena, bar trainer, armory, blacksmith, market, alchemist, miscellaneous market. Outside of the city are the bandit fort on a hill, the the temple on the big hill, then the two mountains are the mystic peaks, oh yeah theres the dark forest, the wolfs den, barbarian village and the pirate docks.

In the Bandit fort are the Bandits

In the Temple are the Guards

In the Dark forest are some harpy's , wolfs and bandits

In the Wolfs den are Wolfs

In the Barbarian village are Barbarians

And in Pirate docks are some pirates

And around a map you will see some other monsters like

Some Features that makes game more playable and funny:

* AI (you can fight in arena with AI or hire some of them)

% means per one hundred. You don't need /100%... that may confuse some people. And the terrain looks interesting, though could you explain what the game is about? Also, you could add some hight variation to the terraign and it would PWN!

Your self proclaimed "nice terrain" isn't that nice. It has no hight variation... at all... a major downer... but no cliffs is a major "upper".

Your terrain needs height variation its 2 plain the first screenie needs some more doodads and all your really saying is gladtius arena over and over, and its system not sistem, but i can tell you have alot of good ideas lets see this map come to life.

As Campir said the terrain isn't all that nice, it is by no means bad, but could need some more work. the tile variation could be improved in the first picture, vary the grass tiles more. Also add some height variation as Campir noted.

Arena Quests

Green Bean Tournament - Simply a small tutorial how to take arms in a arena fight situation, you learn how to do all the nifty tricks in here. Mission: Kill all enemies and survive for [amount] rounds. Beginners, Easy
Fighters Win Tournament - The first tournament of average fighters, kill all oposing enemies and survive for [amount] rounds. Medium
Berserkers Blood Tour. - Here's the real challenges, hard and veterans gladiators fight here, for death or glory. Here in this Tournament you have to face a Champion. Kill, Survive and Win, those are the basic rules. But off course there are no rules in the pit. Hard
Hades Desire Tour. - The ultimate Tournament, rarely someone wins this one. Can you be one of them? Take up your blade and you shall be victorious! That's the one thing that counts in the pit: One winner and one loser. KSW for [amount] rounds and defeat the Elite Champions. Nightmare

Modes: Easy/Normal/Hard/Nightmare mode, Double Trouble, One Extra Chance, Speed Round, Blessing of the Gods, Golden Blessing.

Blacksmith Quests:

Low on Metal - The Smith has barely any Ore to make arms for you fighters. Buy [amount] of iron ore and [amount] of steel and bring it back to the Smith. Easy
Unknown destination - The Smith complains about his goods that hasn't arrived yet in the Docks, go there and find out what's going on and bring them back. Medium
Bad Luck? - The Smith needed a follower who can follow in his footsteps, and that one died, and the next one, and the other ten. They never arrived at his place. Is there a conspiracy or something going on here? Find a decent pupil for him and find the one who murders them all. Medium-Hard

Market Quests

Theft Suprise - People there are complaining about pickpockets, marketowners are complaining about goods being stolen. Try to find one that must get caught in the action and bring him to the guards there. Hint: A thief pickpockets someone and runs away, try to follow him. The one with the item has a mark on his head and will pass it to a other thief, don't get confused. Thieves are sneaky, man. Easy but Confusing
Two Sides of the Coin - A marketman complains that the other marketman steals his goods, and the other way too. Find out what's going on and who the real criminal is here. (Hint: Maybe a 3rd one in the game or it's both of them) Medium
The Heist - What the hell? A massive robbery by daylight? And there are no Guards?! What's going on here? Kill the robbers, bring back the stolen goods and deal with the gang. Medium
