Hi Everyone,
I'm new here at the hive workshop and was wondering if anyone was interested in hearing about my first release which i am currently creating with a friend of mine. its called survival of the pack. its basically a single or multiplayer map, you play as a newly started wolf pack with a den building your alpha and 5 pups. protect your pups so that they may grow into a strong wolf to fight for the pack. your allies include environmentalists and other wolf packs. your enemies are the hunters, farmers and the main human city. most abilities are custom and were currently working on cinematic for the opening and other important events. if you want a more detailed explanation or have any other questions please just say so i will be open to suggestions and will be happy to answer questions. also please do not leave hateful or mean comments about the map. if you don't like it don't comment. i will try to release a beta version as soon as possible thank you

You should maybe try to make a better description of your map, show some screenshots, post the unit specs and evolutions, and the terrain.

Just a suggestion, and I think I have seen something like this before. So for me, it's not all that interesting.

Isn't that basically the exact same as Life Of A Wolf?

EDIT: That doesn't mean It has to be bad, I liked LOAF. Just add some more stuff than LOAF had and it could be good.

Sounds nice, but words are just words!!

Try to post some terrain/unit/spell pictures etc...

That would help all users understand your idea better and of course make it easier for them to support your map and give you ideas!

I know from simple words alone it might seem like life of a wolf (which i discovered after joining the hive-workshop recently) but we've made some major chamges. i will deffinetly try to include some screenshots of the map and possibly record a demo of what we have so far. if any of you have ideas to make it more of an individual map because you think its TOO similar please notify me. also only two people who have more than just warcraft as priorities working on this so if im a bit slow at posting things you want to see on this thread please bear with me

This sounds like the game wolf pack...almost in entirety. Except for the environmentalists, and wolf pack was a multiplayer game. hmmmm...i guess for the sake of practice go for it, but I won't call it the most original idea.

hmm really? i've never heard of it...
but regardless me and my partner will do our best to make it a more unique game. i didnt realize there were so many similar things to our map
but besides how similar this appears to be after one of you stated reading a rather vague description. what do you think of the map? is there anything in particular you're curious about? or would you like to help with the production? as i said before were a little short on hands and someone good at modeling or terraining could be a big help
