Getting Morphed Unit (previous form)

I have multiple units that can morph into a single 'alternate' form. Is there a way of detecting the morphed unit (to give it the ability to go back to the appropriate original unit)?

What detecting? Just stick with ladder abilities and add them properly to normal/alternative form.
