This is one of those icon where its useful if your combining with a skin. But still obvious trace/edit, its worth re-sketching or using one of the games or the tv show as reference. its still has the bone structure/shape of the old Arthas portrait and literally just looks like an old Arthas (if he didnt become the liche king of course ).

I like the idea, it is clever edit. Tho I would like to see more contrast on hair. Even if you check references, Herald have more greish tint, you can add it to make icon more readable.
