Ok, so I have some models that have some bad unwraps on some geosets and I want to remake the wrap only on those geosets without doing everything else...I have 3D Studio Max...For example I have a building that a part of his masonry has a really ugly unwrap and I want just that part...

select object > mesh select/edit mesh modifier > select face/polygons you want to fix > unwrap UVW
will only be applied on selected polygons/faces.
if you didn't figure it out by now.

edit: and I noticed your other topic about messed up uvw, I've never had a problem with unwrap no matter how many modifiers were applied.
are you sure your textures were of either 16x,32x,64x,128x,256x,512x,768x,1024x,2048x ... etc dimensions ?
