No. It was not referring to you, do not heat your feelings over nothing, by no means I did not intend to start yelling at you, I enjoyed roleplaying with you, and it lasted for more than a single post.

What I was referring to was this Christmas, when two people joined "my team" and I couldn't see them but posting single posts, the first one I managed to dodge but the second one got me stuck 'till the end. Sssso, that, is what I was referring to.

I am completely aware that you do not have too much time to give this thing, but you always answered, at some point at least, you didn't just.. Disappear.

Something like that shouldn't be necessary. Escaping from a moment like that is difficult though. It requires either the death of the other character or him sucking into a black goddamn hole.

That Easter was quite nice as I remember it. That, the first many events by vKael, the Red Christmas, the 2014 Valentine Wars and the Ryan McDonald adventures were my favourite parts of the RP history. I don't know what we did back then, but the story progressed, we interacted a lot, and there was plenty of creative new stuff happening. Maybe there is some inspiration to get from the past? :b

Hmm... The absences of roleplayers are the cause of those. But forcing them to write is out of question... that's a problem!
Maybe if we make ALL characters 'killable at any moment' we can do what Bern said?

For example:
A death god that kills a 'random person' by 'accident' to eat its soul, removing his/her very existence at the same time
('random person' = inactive roleplayer's character).

Imadori suddenly wants to climb a mountain.
Climbs Mt.Something.
After reaching the top, Imadori does the 'Bern Dance'.
Just coincidence, from the sky falls out a huge fragment of the moon, falling downwards to his very exact position.

And bam! Dies. Then no one suddenly remembers him. Whatdyathink?

That's kinda what we're doing already. But you know, characters don't even need to die when they're inactive. We have a solution to this problem already, guys, we have the power to control other players' characters in both their absense and presense. Why is this even a problem?

Exactly they don't need to die, and they shouldn't, not to mention that it's incredibly stupid t die all of the sudden.

The reason why I do not want to control anyone's character is because people impersonating my characters suck, and I don't want to suck impersonating theirs.

Because other players get stuck sometimes?
Isn't it more convenient to just kill those characters, rather than keeping them until the end of the RP? These characters likely won't appear on the next RP (continuation) anyway.

Maybe not 'kill' them, but let them have an ending at the right moment.
"Imadori got homesick and went home peacefully", this kind of thing, but more epic.

Yeah, but isn't that sad if it's a nice character? Juno has been coming back and leaving constantly the past year - I kept his character by my side all this time. At one point I gave him the "ending" you speak of, giving him a home, a wife, and kids. Guess what? The home was destroyed a few months later, because of another plot that had nothing to do with Juno - and I picked back up the character, and brought him to Santania, bla bla bla...

I've seen this thing as one huge story. I've only been happy to have companions following my character around - only a few of those companions were actual active members, but their characters did a great contribution to my story.

I believe it should be up to one self, whether you wanna keep the abandoned characters or you wanna kill them. That's the rule that have been here all along, and since Bern don't wanna keep the characters by her side, it has been her problem only. Yet, she have handled that problem by killing them, right? Then everyone should be happy.

This is a matter of personal preferences - and no additional rules can change our personal preferences.

I would not kill character randomly because it's stupid.

Forgot Alagremm? Look, what I'm trying to say is that I don't support the addition of a new rule that prevents characters from being stuck. There is already a rule that allows you to control other player's characters, which is all you need to get free when stuck..
I don't mind you killing people because they got you stuck, but if you ask me, there shouldn't be some sort of rule, automatically killing people's main characters if they are inactive - I personally had a lot of fun taking care of other people's characters in their absense, it'd be sad to not be able to do that anymore.

I never said that they should die! Because it's utterly ridiculous! I only said that something should be done about it, and yeah. I asked Alagremm so I could add it to the story, not because he was inactive, I could've told him to post and then he would've done that.

And I already stated my opinion of controlling, sure it's okay and all. But as said, I don't want to control anyone because I couldn't most likely adapt to their character. As apparently people can't adapt to mine.

Alright. So there wont be a rule about inactive characters.

Whenever someone gets stuck, the stuck player or I will reach out for the inactive member, and if no solution comes in reasonable time, then the character will be free to control, so the RP can go on.
In special cases we can talk about the inconvenient changes by that character to be reverted.

Please note that this always needs communication and approval from me, or the inactive member. You still cant control others' characters without their permission.

While Kyrkow keep playing his tunes stronger and stronger, even the articantlis was catched by it's magic, and started to fall towards the water

"Come on! come on!" Yarrick said while trying to control the ship "How could be this worse than the void?!"

Yarrick had no other choice left but to take out the ice stone, and jump of the ship. The moment he took the icestone, the ship lost it's magic, and became a normal ship, and felt into the ground. Luckly thought, it seem the ship didn't had any damage, but it got burried in the sand. Yarrick used his ice powers to slow down his fall, and landed near Kyrkow. He saw how Am'ar jumped from the dragon, and how the dragon landed short after.

"What's the meaning of this?!" Am'ar said enranged "Why are you alive!" He said pointing to kyrkow

"My soul couldn't stand being defeated by a chicken, so I came back for revenge, but don't worry, I am DEAD" Kyrkow said, still playing his tunes

"I don't belive you!" Am'ar said "Sure you lead the furates, now our plan is ruined!" Am'ar said

"Calm down Am'ar" Vincent said with calm but strong dragon voice "At least he is repeling the furates AND the maniac army, ALONE. You should be thankfull"

"Thankfull to this rat?!" Am'ar said

"Guys guys, stop" Yarrick said "Explain me what happens now?"

"Where did you came from?" They all asked surprised

"Ice ship" Yarrick just said

"Well, we will speak later about that" Vincent said " The important thing now is, the maniacs will destroy this place if we don't do something, ideas?"

"Well, I will be able to hold them with my magic for 24 hours. After that I will loose my powers and them fade, after all I already completed my revenge" Kyrkow said pointing at the near dead body of the stormiken

I plan to hang out with my girlfriend, but last couple of days our relationship have had a lot of small issues, and I'm starting to see where this is going.. a break-up's slowly approaching, not meant to be after all. But I believe we'll at least last for another couple of weeks, so yeah, hang out with my girlfriend, and watch some boring romance movies or something.

Yes, a new character is ideal. Old characters are not forbidden to use either, but ask me before doing so. The plot will be 15 years later, so Am'ar Kardos is probably like 65-70 years old at the time. If he is still alive..

I intend to leave the Epilouge thread open for a while too, if anyone wants to make his/her big finish there, you can do it.

I will post the Contest and Roleplaying thread in a few hours, so keep tight I'm really interested to see how this will turn out
