Game FPS Issue.

Hi people, so, i know this might be an old question, but i've noticed that when i'm playing my fps is most of the time 60, but sometimes it drops to 40-44 frames for a brief period and then rises again to 60. This is extremely annoying, specially when moving the camera, it feels like the game is pausing. So, anyone knows how to fix it?

A vsync issue, perhaps?

Does it happen on all maps?

Monitor your CPU usage while it happens. I'm assuming WC3 is single threaded so one of your cores might be hitting 100% if you have other stuff in the background.

Your HDD may also be too slow or fragmented.
