Everything is dynamically generated with images meaning nothing is pre-placed. It's for a map I'm working on so I'm not sure if I'll release it (or make it release-able for that matter).

I'm open to suggestions and I could use a 2D artist to help design a better UI. As of now I'm using images from around the web / WoW.

Why would he use sharpcraft? Using sharpcraft would mean that nobody can properly use this system without making his map unplayable in the battlenet.
Why is everyone so excited about sharpcraft when it clearly wont make it in any real world project... like the last time.

hm, well thats a pretty nasty bug with the image borders. One possible workaround is to change the order the images are painted to start with the ones bottom left. Its rather uncomfortable and slows down the whole thing (as you have to repaint nearly everything to change a single icon), but there are not too many alternatives... but still - images are a lot faster than destructables.

And not allowing default wc3 icons isnt an option, imo.

Yeah, use destructables. They are about as elegant as you can get. Even though they are a bit limited in function, it'll save you many kb, which IMO is more important.
yea well, but you have to generate objectdata... which i usually prefer not to do.

You sure? I'm just curious.
quite, yea. but feel free to enlighten me with a benchmark ;)
