Free software for convertion mdx > fbx or obj

I've been searching around for this but can't find anything except supposedly 3ds max which requires a paid license, anyone know of a free software to do this?

do you want to convert obj to mdx or the other way around? Retera's model studio can do either, or was it only from obj to mdx, hmmm.

There be should be some online stuff that will allow you to convert fbx to obj then to mdx like those online converters from google. They seem to work.

Yea I want to convert from mdx, not the other way around.

In that case, yeah retera's model studio can convert the model from mdx to obj then you can just use blender to convert to any other format.
