Is it possible to make a WASD-controlled unit in third person camera fire (when left mouse-button is pressed) at the center of the screen? And if so, how? Ofcourse there will be a crosshair at the middle of the screen and I want it to act like a real shooter.

SC2 is not made for shooters.... When will people realise the syncronization SC2 uses is absolute while FPS and other shooter games use server based syncronization.

Anyway, this is possible. The one fortress survival map uses this where you have to fight off enemies for an inifite period of time. The natives that patch 1.2 will add will also make this easier to do. Although latency is a problem (can hardly due counter strike style doging and straffing), it is acceptable to a degree. The movement is also unsmooth so you can not do fast turning and aiming.
