Filtering for melee only maps

is there a way to filter out all custom maps, and search for pure Melee only maps?

Whether it is really melee or not is dependent on what categories the user chooses for his map. I found myself fixing categories once in a while: a map moderator's job isn't just reviewing^^

over half of those maps are considered Custom Maps as well, you missed what I asked for:

is there a way to filter out all custom maps, and search for pure Melee only maps?

thus why all is labeled in BOLD. I didn't feel the need to bold or underline Pure, thinking it was understood.

That would be the way to do it. Unfortunately the tags are not properly set.. Going through all maps and fixing the tags does not sound like a fun job .

All of the tags are properly fine, whenever a pending map has 1000+ type I fix them on the right location.

All of the melee maps uploaded here are 90% hand-made by their respective authors/creators, what do you mean 'pure' Melee maps? are you referring to the original Blizzard maps?

Okay, so that just is not possible. There is no filter for that. But, many of the melee maps aren't altered melee even if they don't have the two swords.

It just means there is at least one change or add on. It's usually downloaded doodads, they are still melee maps with 100% exact same gameplay. Some of the best melee maps have downloaded doodads.

Yep, I completely understand that, but those are not the maps I am wanting to see

Since this doesn't seem possible (for the moment) or just that is not something that is going to be considered, I can just filter though page by page using the current filter setting we have. Thanks anyways.

So your saying you don't want custom doodads in a melee map, but even if all of the Blizzard gameplay is the same?

I don't understand what your asking, I wanted to look for specific Melee maps with no extra rule set. I play Melee maps, Altered melee maps, Custom fun maps, and even Campaigns.
I even use one of sonOfjays maps (with his permission of course).

Ja ok but what you find when filtering for melee results dont include any custom unit, rules, blahblah in the map.
Otherwise, even if with the slightest of change would have belonged into 'altered melee' category already.
Those that have different icon maybe have just a few eyecandy doodads added or used extended terrain graphics, etc.
