Okay, so I need a system that will make doodads slowly fade from visible to near invisible state once the unit enters a specific region.
The fading must be smooth and not just instant disappearing of an object.

I know these kind of systems are very common but none of them was to my liking. They usually just fade instantly.

The system can be in JASS but with explanation on how to customize it and use it.

If system like this already exist It would be very helpful if you could give me a link to it.

I need this system to make the roofs fade once the unit enter a building:

You are not allowed to bump someone else his thread,

But you can only do this by making the doodad as a unit...

EDIT:

Attach the map and I see what I can do for you :wink:


Here is an example
You only have to change the event of the second trigger.

Thanks Squidle, this isn't exactly what I was hoping for (since scaling a unit to the right size, and rising it on the right height will be pain in the ass), but I really appreciate your help (so you get +rep), and I'll try to menage things with your example. :smile::smile::smile:
