<Easy Question: Power-ups

Im encountering some difficulties when I want to edit a power-up in the object editor.

-How can I change how much -agi, -str, -int a power-up gives. In the object editor I cannot do it directly from the items tab (I know some people can).
Does anybody know this problem?

I have tried with the normal WE and the newest Jassnewpack Editor, same problem:

You need to change the ability(ies) that the item has in the abilities tab.

How do I find an item in the abilities tab ?
Have tried exactly that but couldnt find

Items have a field at the top on the object editor call "Item Abilities," or 'iabi' for short.

You can think of items sort of dummies for an actual ability. So for each tome, there is a corresponding tome ability which actually gives the bonus stat. These are under the abilities in the object editor in one of the folders called items.
