Dynamic water levels

Hello fellow Hive creators,

there used to be a guide for dynamic water levels on the old version of this website. I am still wondering how to use different water levels as Blizzard does in its campaigns.

Anyone knows how to do this or even would be willing to create a guide? :O

I'm not familiar with the guide you're talking about, but a lot of this is/can be accomplished with optical illusions that take advantage of the angle the user is seeing the water.

So like, from the user's POV, the waterfall looks like this:


\___/
\__/
/ . \

But in reality here's what it actually looks like:

______/ ______/ _____

where everything's actually a single flat level.
