Hello Community-Member,
my first map was a fail, so I started to make a new one.
Again it's an Orpg, because I like this sort of Games the most !
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Story:
Durian, the Owner of a huge amount of Land, which he gives the farmer, to grow vegetables or other stuff, is lost for a few days. He was a very friendly Person, so everyone is missing him and the whole village is looking for him.
As a brave and strong Woman or Man, you were chosen to explore the Catacombs of Durian's Castle to find out what happened to Durian.
While entering the catacombs, you hear a terrifying silent voice, whispering in your ear: "Help me." After these two words, the voice fade away and you know something terrible is happening !
But you know, before you fight, you must know how to fight.
And then your Journey begins !
This epic Journey will lead you through the catacombs of Durian's Castle, but it will also leads you to mystic places !
Be prepared for the unbelievable world of Durian's Castle!
-Storyline will be improved- -It's just the shortversion-

I started with the terraining, but it isn't done yet ...
A Friend of mine, krisier, is helping me but he don't know everything too ^^

-Summoner --> Beastmaster or Shaman
-Priest --> Battlepriest or Bishop
-Hunter --> Sniper or Survivor

-Knight --> Champion or Shielder
-Mage --> Wizard or [Idea is missing]
*Unique weapons/armor (You can't have more than 1)
*Stash System (Extra space for Items) or backpack system

Of course i want your help ;)
To the Spells:
The Map contains 6 basic classes and each has min 1 Specialisation. plus the Novize.
So there are 17 classes we have to make spells for ... ^^

ye hi :)) then write some specific classes/spells and i will start thinking about them :) Do you want boss event like world of warcraft maybe? Phases, guards spawning, something special ? :)

And it will be multiplayer game? Yea? Every group of players need healers or something? Or it is only about damaging ? :)

well... I am not quit sure and Sri6 has gone Off-line for today... But we started map yesterday i think it was:) so the heroes aren't ready but 5 spells per hero:) exxapt the novise:p but if you can start making Some Holy spells for our AOE healer... or maybe Target/AoE healer:p but still make some spells that's like Life spray...

My spells:

Penance - from world of warcraft
Something like Channeling for 2 sec, heal three times for XXX damage
Holy Wrath - my spell
Deals xxx damage to target creature, and pick two random units around target, healing allies or damaging enemies for xxx damage/heal
Repentance - every spell have 30%(or more) chance to heal yourself for xxx

For now.. :D

All of this spells i make if u want.

OK Here's some news:p Item system is on a good way but! all Weapons that's made in Object editor That's gonne be weapons most be made into The Item Class Artifact:p THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT becuse The item system is that way:)

Ok doboss,
here are some information about the classes:
First we have the Archer, he shall get something like the trueshot aura, something like the searing arrows, but with % of total dmg and some % of this damage as AoE dmg. Than a Shot which stun the target for x seconds (0,05xSkilllevel or something like this) and a spell that let you allow to shoot at 2 targets, but the second target dont get full dmg (x% of total damage)
I didn't thought about a ultimate skill ... be creative ;)
Then we come to the Sniper (specialisation from female archer), he should get multishot with 75% of the total damage (targets increase per level max 8 on rang40), then again a shot that stuns (up to 3 or 4 seconds) and again the searing arrow thing but no AoE anymore. And there might be a sort of poison arrow with some cooldown (10-15 seconds) which deals x% of your agility or total dmg i dont know ... . As Ultimate skill he can get something like the aimed shot from wow before WotLk ... 4 seconds casttime and then you shoot a mighty arrow.
That's enough for this morning ...
i will tell ya the rest later, cause i gtg to school now ;P

ok, i try to make some spells :) I will start with archer :) Also Question.. How many levels they heroes should have? Or, how many levels should have that spells?

For now... Piercing Arrow
Shots a piercing arrow at target enemy that pierce through target to other nearby enemy. Second hit deals less damage.
Level 1: 90 damage, 25% less damage
Level 2: 145 damage, 20% less damage
Level 3: 210 damage, 18% less damage
I can change damage and %.

Searing arrows
30% of agility + your damage to the target, 8 damage to all units around target(aoe 300).
But there is one problem. This ability doesent work if you enable auto cast... Can it be normal spell with cooldown? Ofc with some changes--> 100% of agility(with bonuses of items), and xxx aoe damage...

The class you choose when you are a Novize, like Archer, shall have between 110 and 150 Level (Spells from lvl25 til lvl35).
The damage of the Piercing Arrow is ok but it would be better if it deals x% of your total dmg ... (basicdmg + agility bonus + dmg bonus) like 30% or something like this so you make more dmg the higher you get ...
The Searing Arrow can have cooldown, yeah ... and the dmg with 100%of agi is also ok ... it's not to high and not to low ...

ok, searing and pearcing arrow is ok i will make it, level 25 - 35 will be little bit hard to make(copy,copy,copy and one more copy :D), i need to know damage on level 1 and damage on level 30 of all abilities(for now piercing arrow, searing arrow and multishot). but.... I found problem with multi shot.. I have made it but there is problem. Three shots hit random targets but they can hit also archer or his allies :D so.. I have tried to fix it for 3 hours now... And i dont have anything :(.. I think editor is little bit bugged when you are making harder things. The game doesent want my spell or i dont know :D IAm working in two hours i try to fix it

The Startdamage of the Piercing Arrow can be around 100 with 33% less dmg to other target and the enddamage shouldn't be more than 2500 with 20% less dmg to other target.
The Searing Arrow shouldn't have a start/end damage, maybe something like 100% of agility + Rank*10

ok Finally Multi shot is complete... It was esier than i thought :D
so spells:
Piercing shot- complete
multi shot - complete
searing arrow- complete
ultimate - iam working on it
poison shot - easy, i will make it then
aimed shot - hmm iam working on it
stunning shots - easy, i will make then
I have only concepts of spells, levels i will make in map :)

You can write new abilities xD



I have ultimate for Archer:
Storm of Arrows
Calls xxx(5) arrows to protect archer, damaging enemies for xx dmg lasts xxx seconds. Like locust swarm.

Fine. The ultimate Skill sounds very nice.

New Abilities:

Summoner:
-Should have something like a Chain Lightning with dmg and 1% chance on hit to make extra dmg with a extra visional effect. (cooddown 8 secs)
-A spell that regenerates targets mana. (per second 100% of the summoners Int for 8-12 secs) (cooldown 25 secs)
-Something like summoning wolves or beares (2 skills, 1 wolves other bears[Or other animals]). Shouldn't be too strong and the max. is 3 damage animals[Like the wolves] and 1 tankanimal[Like the bear]) (cooldown 30 secs)
You can just have 1 sort of animals at the same time ... 1 tankanimal OR 3 damage animals)(Extra spell, which kills your animal(s) if you want to change it)
-Ultimate: [No Idea atm xD i will edit it when i know something]


Beastmaster (specialization):
-improved summoning of animals (number is the same, damage increased, 2 spells) (cooldown 30 secs)
You can just have 1 sort of animals at the same time ... 1 tankanimal OR 3 damage animals) (Extra spell, which kills your animal(s) if you want to change it)
-orb effect: chance on hit to summon a snake which shoots a poison on the target, increasing the damage from all sources of 10% for 8 secs (inner cooldown 10 secs)
-maybe a spell that allows you, to go in an astral form, in which you can't move, but regenerate x% of your life and your animal(s) (cooldown 25 sec)
-Ultimate: Some sort of enrage ... increased attack speed, increased dmg and increased dmg of your animal(s) for 15 secs (cooldown 60 secs)


Shaman (specialization):
-improved Chain Lightning, chance for extra dmg increased to 4% (cooldown 8 secs)
-improved manaregeneration skill (cooldown 25 secs)
-"Lightning Shock", dmg target unit and silence it for x secs
-electric roots, summons entangling roots on the target, reduces his movement speed to 0 and dealing some dmg to the target (not much, because its to mighty then)
-Ultimate: Something like a Electric Tornado. Summons an electric tornado for 1-7 seconds dealing damage to all nearby units and a 30% chance to cast a chainlightning on then which can hit up to 4 targets. Can hit a unit twice ! (cooldown 35 secs)
Electric Tornado is summoned at the position of the caster and moves, when the shaman moves ...


Priest:
-Holy Shock, Heals target friendly unit for x points or damages a enemy for the half (cooldown 16 secs)
-Holy Nova (mady by krisier aka. naitsirk) (cooldown 6 secs)
-Greater Heal, heals a target friendly unit for y points (cooldown 4 secs)
-some sort of shield, reduces the dmg of each hit for z points, 5 charges (cooldown 25 secs)
-Ultimate: Force of the Light: summons 3 angels surrounding the priest for 6 secs. Each angel attacks nearby units and heals a random friendly unit for 25% of the damage. (cooldown 40 secs)

Battlepriest (specialization):
-improved Holy Shock, but can only heal the Battlepriest (cooldown 14 secs)
-improved Holy Nova can hit max 3 targets and heal 3 targets (more dmg/heal) (cooldown 7 secs)
-Holy Blast. Fires a holy blast to the enemy which explodes at the position of the target and deals to nearby units x dmg (cooldown 11 secs)
-Passive Ability: When you die, you summon an angel if in a radius of 600 is a friendly unit. the angel damages all enemys in a radius of 400. If he kills a enemy, the battlepriest become alive on the position he died. (inner cooldown of 3 mins)
-Ultimate: Lifetransfer, damages the target unit for x secs and for each damagepoint the allies in a radius of 300 being healed for x points (cooldown 50secs)

Bishop (specialization):
-improved greater heal (cooldown 2 secs)
-improved shield, increases the targets armor for 100000 (100% dmg reduce) for 5 secs (cooldown 20secs)
-manaregeneration aura, increase the manaregeneration for 100-1000%
-passive ability: your healspells have a chance to heal a random unit in a radius of 450 for 10% of the amount
-Ultimate: Concentrate your will for 4 secs to heal all nearby units for their maximum life. Drains 25% of your total mana (cooldown 3 mins)

Yeah i thought about that too but its better when every one can choose the class he wants. And the Save/Load system we are going to make dont work on one hero type per game ...

Yeah it can be something else. Just the additional dmg. How much isn't important (But more than 1 xD )

welll Terraining is not done but we got people working on that:p and ur welcome as a Item Maker and a Tester:p and BTW i am working on 4 RPG's:) and i still uses most time /or maybe just3 becuse it's not sured if i'm in urs u know:p)

Make a 64x64 map named durian's castle Items and create the item there.
there should be some starter items you can buy at the shop, something like +dmg and +armor/+life and for the caster +dmg/+int/+manareg. But a few different weapons with more/less dmg so that u can buy the weapon with more dmg later when u have more money. (+dmg/+int/+armor from 10 to 30, manareg: +100% - +150%, +life from 250 - 500)
Then there should be the 1st dungeon items. Stuff like +dmg/+attackspeed
or +armor/+life/+lifereg or +str/agi/int / +manareg/attackspeed/lifereg
(+dmg/+str/agi/int 50-85, +armor 40-55, Life 650-1000, attackspeed: +10% - +20%, +Lifereg/+manareg +125% - 310%)

If you have any ideas of how other items should be like just say.
The levelcap is ~200 maybe more maybe less, with 6 different jobs.
Than i will have a look at your ideas and try to implement them in the map ;P

I allready have done about 10 items, and ill attach to this thread when i have done about 20. Just to let you view on my work and say what to change ;)

The items are nice but can u make these items u made to one itemlvl ?
like all items are itemlvl1. So we can see easier for which dungeon/part of the map the items are.
Btw: Nice Terrain ;)

Yeah sorry, Like X-OMG-X said the terrain isn't finished ... atm i have a lack of ideas ;) But i think tomorrow i will have the structure and then i will send it to Sakuria, she will make the finishing touch.
