Cat gasps for air and yells out "Radiance is no where near as good as Void Missiles!"
"Shut.The.Fuck.Up" growls James while busy standing up
He looks in front of him and sees the weird scenario in front of him.

"Now, what the fuck has just happened..." Reinhart asked in a mostly deadpan face with blank stares, but he was beginning to be drenched in sweat. "What the fuck is with Radiance? And void missiles?"

<Nice job breaking it, Reinhart. Truly wonderful job.>

"Is she auditioning for a horror movie? Dem screams tho"

A chuckle came from one amused Reinhart. "What the fuck,"

"This is not good,they have been exposed to The One Beyond the Beyond.I will try and break their contact."

"The One Beyond the Beyond? What is that? Who is that?"
"Also it sounds like a cosmic horror. Are you sure, that you can handle it? I only need you to watch--"

He starts humming loudly and cat gets up with a sigh to join in.After a minute,the contact is broken and the link between Cadusa and Derrick broken.Derrick's condition calms down and he starts coughing while slowly opening his eyes.They grow wide upon seeing Cat and James

Cadusa was caught off guard with the link severed, fell down onto the ground. She then got herself up with her eyes spinning a little like crazy.

"......" Cadusa looked around.
"Wow, never expected that..." Reinhart commented. "Ohhh, Cadusa? You okay, dear?"
"Ahhh... yes... But that sudden cutting, it left me dizzy for awhile. Hmmm, too bad, I did not get to fuck that little bitch. I sense... power nearby. Strong power..."

"......" Reinhart looked around nervously and began sweating more, before saying, "Yes. Because there was not any other way."
<Oh my goodness, what have I done!?!?>

"Greetings señorita" Says Cat with a grin
"He's a dude" James was staring intensely at Cat
"That's the point"
"Misgendering people is my thing"
"Was"

A burst of giggles erupted from Reinhart and even Cadusa.

"Okay, so mind telling me about this The One Beyond the Beyond?" Reinhart asked, "And yes, who are you?"

Meanwhile, several massive hordes of shadowspawns were rushing all the way to Reinhart's position.

"Oh, great. I was being too loud then. Fucking dammit! Why?!"

"There! The Dragonhead is there!" Fritzel shouted in surpise, "Hang on, boss!"
"Our job is done here, come, let's go. We'll meet the Dragonhead,"

James turned to him. "We haven't even been introduced and we just survived a encounter with void beings and fighting each other,and you are interrogating us? Might I ask who you are and what you are doing here? Do you want to randomly attack us like those necrophiliacs and void vultures?"
"Yas queen slay!" yelled cat while dancing.
James punched him to the ground. "Shut it!"
"S-stop f-f-ighting !" yelled Maria
"What's going on ..."groaned Derrick. "What happened..where's the tentacles and vultures..."
"Inside your mother!" Yelled Cat and laughed.
James facepalmed and sighed,before looking at Reinhart and Cadusa. "Save yourselves from his stupidity.And his yo mama jokes"
"Yo mamma so fat that if she went on a diet she'd end world hunger!" Yelled Cat and burst out laughing
James sighed again. "Ok that was one was kinda good,but they get a lot worse"

"Hey, I only wished to have a damn talk. You're mean. And I was the one bringing you both back to life. So if you won't give us your names, then I'll just give you names. I'll call you (James) as Minimani, and I'll call the cat as... as... Voidy!"

As the cat Voidy said "queen" once again, somehow Reinhart smirked and even blushed a bit. "Queen. Best word ever. Oh, don't mind me."
Cadusa turned to look at Reinhart, and showed a brief grin before turning away from Reinhart's view. She then lowered her head, before looking upward to the skies.

"Tsk. Minimani is such a mean dog," the Dragonhead commented as he watched James punching the poor cat. "Hey, your girl asks you to stop fighting..."

"What's going on ..."groaned Derrick. "What happened..where's the tentacles and vultures..."

Reinhart rolled off the ground laughing hard, "Boy, you must have seen some... hentai mangas lately, eh? I see you're a man of culture as well :lovalcoffee:"

Reinhart could not help but laugh at the cat's jokes, even if it seemed silly to all the rest. Cadusa gave strange looks at Reinhart as her lover laughed at Cat's nonsense jokes. "Are you... okay?" Cadusa looked a bit concerned.

"Voidy's quite nice," Reinhart spoke in a bright smile, "I like Voidy!"

"Voidy? Come on,Maria can do better than that and she's not even a teenager,nor right in the head" said Cat with a smirk
"Kitty T-that's m-mean!" scolds Maria and glares at Cat
"It's the truth though,think of a better name for me.Prove it" says Cat with a smirk
"C-cunt!" yells Derrick while chuckling
James bursts out laughing and rolls on his back
"I wasn't talking to you dickhole" groans Cat while showing his claws.
"Ok yeast infection"
Cat roared out loudly while James continued laughing hysterically
"I will not be beaten in my own game you mortal fool" Cat's body starts to shake and he transforms in a tall muscular orc shaman.
James decided it's time to join in. "Hey Voidy,you're so much bigger but your brain is still the same size.!"
"YOU MORON" Cat the orc kicked James,prompting James to transform into a large griffon.
"You want round 2 bitch?"
"Bah,your power is as pathetic as your insults you feminine feathered fuckface"

"Okay then... Hmmmm.... R-Radiance!"

The ensuing bickering amongst Cat, Maria, Derrick and James has left Reinhart laughing out loud.
Reinhart was so focused on watching the Fuckfest, that he has forgotten about the approaching shadowspawns. And the rest probably would be too preoccupied with their own things to even care.

Reinhart, being secretly butthurt after cat dismissed his naming, went cheering for James instead. "Go, James!"

However, Reinhart do still seem to remember something. As he enjoyed the bickering, he at the same tme also slowly backed off with his eyes still fixed at the two arguing animals.

The shadowspawn battalions kept on marching closer and closer... but no one there gives a fuck anyway.

Fritzel is still looking at the shadow mage for a response. "Hey, you wanna ride along or not? Hallo?"

Derrick groaned and rolled over while facepalming.Maria ran indoors and got a few bowling pins.
James and Cat were busy engaging in verbal as well as physical combat,which Cat was winning due to his new form's magic.However,James got a few good bites and scratches in.
Derrick stood up and yelled "STOP YOU MANGY BEASTS!"
Cat and James were not pleased.
They glared at him and walked closer.
"Wouldn't you two rather want to fight the shadowy vultures and tentacles?" he asks carefully.
James and Cat turned to each other.
"He has a point." says James. "We need to find out who sent those necromancers and the rest of them."
"Indeed." Cat turned to Reinhart."Mortal without manners,do the shadowy creatures serve you?"

Meanwhile Maria has returned and poked Cadusa.
"M-miss,c-can you juggle?"

A horde of shadowspawn lurch out and started tearing into the shadwoy horde.
"This SHOULD keep them occupied for quite a while"

The Dankolian battalions engaged in battle with these rouge shadowspawns.

"What the fuck?! Shadowspawns fighting against us!?"
"Wait, what happened? These seem like new shadowspawns, haven't seen their kinds before,"

The voidmancers amongst the Dankolians, from novice to master, have tried to bend and control the shadowy energies borne by the rouge creatures.

A rain of rotten corrosive meat within sickly green clouds was showered onto the rouge shadowspawns.

"Wouldn't you two rather want to fight the shadowy vultures and tentacles?" he asks carefully.
James and Cat turned to each other.
"He has a point." says James. "We need to find out who sent those necromancers and the rest of them."
"Indeed." Cat turned to Reinhart."Mortal without manners,do the shadowy creatures serve you?"

Reinhart was not amused with the cat. "What? No! We are the ones running away from them! We wouldn't have to go camp in the jungle if that was the case!"

Little did Reinhart know, that Fritzel has already struck a deal with one void battlemage. As of now, the Dankolians were embroiled in a skirmish with those rouge shadowspawns.

"Juggle?" Cadusa gave Maria a weird look, "Been a long while since... why?"

@WhiteFang Would you mind if you bring us three into a new world of your own making?

"C-cat m-made fun of me for n-not being able to j-juggle good.I-I wanna s-show him!" says Maria with a toothy grin in response

Derrick looked at Cat.
"One more thing...I saw visions of extreme conflict and violence...and purple flames everywhere.What do you know of that?"
Cat looked at him with a grin.
"Really want to know?"
"Yes,I asked you after all"
Cat starts levitating while chanting in a foreign language,and soon a portal opens in front of them.
"Step inside,and I'll show you"

"Hmmmmmmmmmmm" Reinhart slowly walked to the front of the portal, then lowered his head in thought.

"Wait, you are telling me that Derrick's world is real?" Cadusa gasped, "This cannot be..."

"I have to do something before going, can't leave my kongsi headless in case I'm gone for good."
*Reinhart sent another falcon to Fritzel*
*but noticed Fritzel bringing along a legion of... alien shadowspawns*
*@Leo Akastenix the Voidmaster would be approached by the Falcon as well*
*and the Falcon brings a story of a far away world. The falcon wishes him to join Reinhart in his ventures*
Falcon : "Hey, gentleman, do you want to tag along? A world of purple flames, ablaze in the fire of war and strife. Who knows what lies within there?"
*after some conversations between the Falcon and Fritzel*

"Alright, I'm ready."
"Me too."

Cat lead them inside,but in the process forgot to close the portal behind him.His head was filled with plans on how to restore his power,so much that petty tasks such as closing portals was lost on him

On the other side of the portal,there was a large barren landscape with dark brown sand and rough winds.The temperature is very cold,with pink fog settling around them.The most confusing part,was the sky.It was on fire.Covered in purple flames and floating upside down building ruins.It was as if entire burning cities were turned upside down and frozen in the sky.No stars or clouds could be seen,no sun either.Pieces of rubble floated around them,glowing as they got closer.

"So,what do you think?" asked Cat with a smug grin

Reinhart and Cadusa both marvelled at the sight, and lost briefly in their train of thoughts. "Very interesting. But why are the skies burning? And--" A sneeze came from Reinhart before he continued, "if so, why is the land cold as fuck?"

Cadusa was staring at the upside down ruins with interest. "Things here all seemed to be in reverse. Is the sky being the land, and the land being the sky?"

"I suppose... I can... have some fun over here. We can forget about Duntortia for now."
"Wait, what the fuck did I just say? Ugh, but yes, I could need a rest here. And a rest of fighting and looting of course. Lol."

Act II : Weird New World

A mysterious talking cat tore open a rift in the fabrics of spacetime. Behind the rift lies a whole new world, a whole new world full of perplexing mysteries and alien physics. The skies had been blazing brightly with purple flames while the dark deserts below however were very chilling. What do this weird new world have in store?

" No worries" said Cat."There shouldn't be any fighting nearby.As for rest..."
Cat walked up to a spot in the sand,and put his paw on it.It revealed a small triangular lock,which he lifted up.A strange hole in the ground opened up,and cat motioned them to follow him into it.The hole went down into some red tunnels,and appeared to close to each person as soon as they enter it.
"So we have 3 tunnels ahead of us.Each will lead to a different place where we can rest:A underwater city,a underground castle and a flying tower.Without knowing which one leads to what,pick a tunnel my lovelies."
James rolled his eyes.He didn't know why cat decided to be so extra instead of just leading them to one.

"I guess I'd say the middle one" says Derrick

"Wait," Reinhart asked, "How can you know there's a castle or some crap but not know which tunnel leads to which place?"

Cadusa said, "Perhaps he went there a long time ago. You know people can have rusty memories right?"

"But then, he's so damn specific about what lies beneath all of the tunnels. Underwater castle, underground city and a swimming castle!"

"Sorry. They are an underwater city, underground castle and a flying tower. Your memory is more rusty than the cat, huh?"

"Damn..."

"I don't know, but I like the right one. The right one will probably lead us to the right path. Right?" Reinhart spoke.
"The left seems to be good for me. But I'll leave it up to the rest of you guys."

"...... Middle one, perhaps." Reinhart finally decided.

"Middle one it is!" Cat said with a smirk and started leading them down it.The tunnel was fairly long,but eventually ended at a large door with a silver frame.Cat looked up at it and looked back and worth between the rest.
"I'm a cat.I can't open doors."
Derrick groaned and James facepalmed while Maria just chuckled.
Derrick pulled open the door and saw a bunch of walls with paintings on it as well as stairs.Judging by the circular shape,they have ended up with the tower.He decided to enter,and as he did,the sounds as well as the smell and feeling of the flying tower hit him.It was so strange,before he stepped in he couldn't smell hear or feel anything from the tower.
"Flying,definitely flying.Holy shit" he grumbled
Cat bounced in afterwards,followed by James and Maria.
"The bedroom is upstairs.I'll lead the way" says James quickly and nervously while walking to the steps.
"What's the hurry fleabag? We should introduce them to Adrianna first." Cat has a cunning grin on his face.
"No need,there's a kid with us afterall"
"At least take man without manners to meet her,she might get offended if they sleep in the tower without her being told.
James sighed and nodded.
"Very well,you take the rest to the bedroom" He walked over to Reinhart and motioned him to follow while Cat lead the rest up the spiral marble stairs

James opened a cellar like door and started heading down the small metal stairs.
"Cat is trying to mess with everyone's heads.He no doubt has some plan to restore his power.Let's get this over with,by now Adrianna has smelled and heard us,let's not add tasted to that list."
"Any questions?" he quickly added while starting to walk forward in the dark hallway they would now find themselves in

Meanwhile Cat had escorted those who followed him into a grand large bedroom,complete with its own dining table and a chandelier.There were big soft beds with the most beautiful wooden railings around it.There was one thing off however,the beds were humming and occasionally chuckling in a much different tone from the humming

"Great," the falcon said, before leading the Void Mage to the still standing portal. "The thing's still open, better go now or else it'll close any minute."

Fritzel immediately objected, "Hey, that's unfair! I wanna get in too!"

"No, we need you to take care of our fellow Triads. Don't worry, we'll be back shortly." the falcon then dissipated into a mist of green.

Reinhart could not help but went deep into thought at cat's inability to open a door. Just a while ago, the cat could open a portal, and before that, he unleashed godly amount of power against James and against the shadowspawns.

"We're in a flying tower, huh? Nice." said Reinhart with a smirk. "And classy paintings too, I like them all. Great place."

"Adrianna?" Cadusa asked. "And why should we keep a kid away from her? Is she... a lovemaker?" As Cadusa finished her words, she chuckled. "Lovemaker..."

"At least take man without manners to meet her,she might get offended if they sleep in the tower without her being told.

"Man without manners?" Reinhart asked, with fingers pointing inward to himself, "Me...?"

"Oh, by the way, this Adrianna of yours sound quite mysterious... quite alluring... quite... the feels. I want to meet such a great lady."

"Tsk..." Cadusa scoffed and gave Reinhart a puzzled look.

"Huh?"

Cadusa looked away from Reinhart, with her hands clenching into fists, "N-nothing..."

James sighed and nodded.
"Very well,you take the rest to the bedroom" He walked over to Reinhart and motioned him to follow while Cat lead the rest up the spiral marble stairs

"KKK, nigga." Reinhart followed...

"Cat is filled with some deep hatred and inner hysteria.His mental health is no longer what it is.Me and cat used to live here before everything went to hell.We aren't physical beings,rather we are spiritual entities,abstract concepts that can take on a physical form.We have a strongest and a weakest form based on our personality traits that are assigned to us at birth.For example,cat is well,a cat because of how cunning and chaotic he is,though very lazy.His ultimate form is the dragon,which represents his wisdom and intelligence but also his rage and arrogance." James told this story as they continued down the hallway
"I doubt you want your dick near Adrianna.I doubt you want anything near Adrianna.Only cat in his arrogance would anger her.She's like us,but the events that took place twisted her physical form and broke her spirit.She suffered mental and physical torture and is now cruel,sadistic and just as twisted and torn down as her body.Though since we are of the same species,she willingly helps us and lets us use her tower."
He suddenly stopped in his tracks,looking in front of him.
A tall female figure approached.Her skin was completely white with scars,her long black messy hair hung down to her lower back.She had no ears and her eyes were only bloody black sockets.Her mouth was carved bigger and her lips removed,stitches kept the lower and bottom part together.She wore a purely black long dress that dragged behind her
"Greetings Adrianna,we are back and we brought some visitors from another world,they are tired and would like to rest here.
She looked at him,her empty sockets focusing on him despite there being no eyes.
"It's a young girl,a older male,a snake female and this dude right here."
She kept focusing on him.
"Sure,I'll tell him to come down and see you.When he's done scaring the others with the beds of course,he won't pass up on that opportunity"
Adrianna darted her head towards Reinhart.A dry,shaky and creepy voice filled his head. "Welcome home young one"

Cat grinned.
"Those are the beds sexy snake.They are the ancient spirits that roamed this tower,trapped in that physical form for all of eternity."
He walked over to one of the beds.
"You got a lighter?"
A flame started floating above the bed.Cat rolled a joint and lit it on the fire,before the fire disappeared
"S-s-smoking is b-bad kitty" said Maria with a frown and her arms folded
"Conspiring behind my back to be a better juggler is bad too"
Maria's eyes grew wide and cat winked at her

The entire tower suddenly shook,as if they crashed into a mountain.
"Adrianna...what the fuck was that?"
She looked at him before walking back into the darkness.
James looked at Reinhart.
"We have company,let's go to the entrance quickly"
He started heading back to where they entered the tower

"So what happened to this world of yours? How did this hell come to be?"

"I doubt you want your dick near Adrianna.I doubt you want anything near Adrianna.Only cat in his arrogance would anger her.She's like us,but the events that took place twisted her physical form and broke her spirit.She suffered mental and physical torture and is now cruel,sadistic and just as twisted and torn down as her body.Though since we are of the same species,she willingly helps us and lets us use her tower."

"Hmmmmm... okay..." Reinhart's boner was now weakened, but his heart on the other hand pounded stronger but slower. "Poor lady. Why would people want to hate a good lady anyways?"

He suddenly stopped in his tracks,looking in front of him.

"Huh? Wait, wha--"

Somehow, Reinhart had the guts to lean closer and sniff for some smell.

Adrianna darted her head towards Reinhart.A dry,shaky and creepy voice filled his head. "Welcome home young one"

"Ahhh!!!" Reinhart slowly looked back with a resurgent boner, but stared at Adrianna, "Wait, home? What do you mean? Like... how? I came from elsewhere. I had never been here ever!"

Cat grinned.
"Those are the beds sexy snake.They are the ancient spirits that roamed this tower,trapped in that physical form for all of eternity."

Cadusa gasped. "Sexy..." a blushing Cadusa spoke fastly in a light tone, "Did you just call me sexy...?" Then she looked away, and kept looking at those weird beds.

"Hmmm... kinky."
Cadusa slowly walked toward one of the beds. But everything went shaking suddenly, throwing her off guard...

The entire tower suddenly shook,as if they crashed into a mountain.
"Adrianna...what the fuck was that?"
She looked at him before walking back into the darkness.

"Excuse me?! Lady, where are you going!?" the Dragonhead screamed at the dissipating ghostly lady, "Damn!"

James looked at Reinhart.
"We have company,let's go to the entrance quickly"
He started heading back to where they entered the tower

Reinhart followed James to the way back.

"How rude. I was going to enjoy my time on bed!" hissed the serpentine lady. "Little cat, what the fuck is wrong with this fucking place!?"

"This is not normal at all.I'm sure Adrianna,your companion and Sir fleaballs will take care of it babe.You can go to bed" said cat confidently
"Why are you flirting with a snake you barely know cat?" Derrick asked while opening a bed for Maria to sleep in.Maria got into it,and fell asleep very quickly.
"Silence lord virgin pecker" growled Cat.

James stopped in front of the entrance,and proceeded to transform into a large orc with 2 axes and long black dreads.
"You know how to fight right?" he asked before pulling the door open.
Outside there were now strange pick clouds forming a walk-able surface.The clouds shimmered and made strange echoing sounds.
"I don't like this one bit" whispered James as he slowly walked out onto the clouds.He slowly moved around,darting his eyes everywhere.
"Do you see anyth-" James' question was interrupted by a large decayed hand grabbing onto his foot and trying to pull him down.He hit it with his axe,but as he does 2 more hands come out and grab at him.He starts swiping at them with his weapons viciously,cutting off many fingers.
Near Reinhart one of the creatures fully emerge.It has a humanoid undead body,but two fleshy venus flytraps dripping in acid for heads.It had 4 arms,each was holding a different type of blade.Another one popped out,which resembled a large golem made out of different corpses melted together.
James was surrounded himself,2 skeletal creatures with dragon heads,heads and horns had came out of the clouds and were now staring him down,each of them with a large flaming battleaxe.
"You have to be fucking kidding me"
He dodge a powerful swing from one of them and drove his axe into its back.However,due to it being a skeletal creature,this didn't do much except break a few bones.
The creature swung around and breathed fire at him,but James managed to duck and cut off its one leg,sending it to the ground.The 2nd one of the creatures leaped at him,bringing it's axe down,almost cutting the surprised James in half,though fortunately he managed to move,yes was still cut down from his collarbone to his pelvis.He roared and brought his axes down on the creature's skull,splitting it in two
This proved to be a mistake,as it's 2 half heads formed into 2 full heads and were now breathing acid at him.He managed to avoid it by rolling across the clouds,but this aggravated his wound.The one legged creature was latching at him,trying to get a hold.He hit it in the face with his one axe,and took its head off with the other

"Do you see anyth-" James' question was interrupted by a large decayed hand grabbing onto his foot and trying to pull him down.He hit it with his axe,but as he does 2 more hands come out and grab at him.He starts swiping at them with his weapons viciously,cutting off many fingers.

"Crap."

Reinhart pulled out some darts from his pockets, breathed out a mist of green to them before raining them down onto those giant hands. The darts exploded into green puffs of fiery smoke, sending powerful bursts of hot winds and kinetic shockwaves.

"Huh?"

Reinhart turned to his back, only to find a fully surfaced creature right there...

Near Reinhart one of the creatures fully emerge.It has a humanoid undead body,but two fleshy venus flytraps dripping in acid for heads.It had 4 arms,each was holding a different type of blade.Another one popped out,which resembled a large golem made out of different corpses melted together.

"Damn, there is another fatass abomination."

A falcon was formed out of Reinhart's misty breath. The falcon went flying around the flytrap-headed butcher, spitting orbs of green fire. From time to time, the falcon would land on one of its arms while any of its blade approaches it. The falcon would dodge right when the blade was barely close to hitting the falcon, hopefully to let the butcher cut itself.

"They shall burn!"

A fierce torrent of fiery winds emerged right between Reinhart and the golem, much like a tower of ablaze rotors. The firestorm rushed to embrace the flesh golem immediately.

James was surrounded himself,2 skeletal creatures with dragon heads,heads and horns had came out of the clouds and were now staring him down,each of them with a large flaming battleaxe.
"You have to be fucking kidding me"
He dodge a powerful swing from one of them and drove his axe into its back.However,due to it being a skeletal creature,this didn't do much except break a few bones.

"Wow... two more."
"Try making a hole and getting inside the skeletons?"

This proved to be a mistake,as it's 2 half heads formed into 2 full heads and were now breathing acid at him.He managed to avoid it by rolling across the clouds,but this aggravated his wound.The one legged creature was latching at him,trying to get a hold.He hit it in the face with his one axe,and took its head off with the other

A ray of healing essence hopped from Reinhart and came to James' embrace, hopefully healing him.

"Hmmm... I wonder if this can be of use." said as Reinhart pulled out a ball of web from his pocket. The ball of web expanded in size and began spreading the smell of chicken blood and ink. As soon as the web was immersed in the pink fog, it began glowing in a bright hue of red and orange. "James, look out!"

He then hurled the ball of web toward the other creature. As it got closer, the ball of web grew larger in size and brighter in glow. "Hope all the priestly training will pay off."

The corpse abomination was far too slow to avoid the fire storm.It got hit,its corpse ignited and burst open,unleashing hordes and hordes of different zombies that charged at Reinhart.

Meanwhile the blade creature realized that it wasn't going to get the falcon this way and was only defeating itself,so it resorted to magic.It created mirror images of it.One was a mage,who began firing fireballs at the falcon while the other was a archer which fired 3 arrows at once at it.

James manages to avoid the web but his enemy didn't.James took advantage of this and leaped forward,cutting off both of its heads.James felt re-energized and the pain from his now healed wound was subsiding.He looked back and saw what was happening.He growled and cast a spell which summoned oil under the hordes charging Reinhart,slowing them down and causing some to trip
"Would be a shame for them if fire magic hit that oil huh!" he yelled at Reinhart and winked before charging off to engage the bladed creature.
As the archer and mage engaged the falcon,James engaged the main bladed one,dueling him with his axes,hoping to break through all the blades.He managed to cut one hand off and land a blow on it's 3rd arm,but at the cost of having his shoulder slashed open.The creature jumped backwards and James pursued him.The creature dodged and leaped backwards a few more times,before calling down a large meteor to strike James.
He managed to dodge the main meteor but the explosion still knocked him down.The creature jumped through the air,hoping to bring its blades down on James,who managed to roll out of the way and cut its foot off.

"Did you guys here a explosion?" Derrick asked worryingly
"Relax,I'm sure its fine" came the calm response from cat. "Fleaballs can handle himself"

"Damn, this butcher stole my idea! Very well then..." as Reinhart finished, he turned into a glowing ghost before dissipating into a puff of smoke. A bright orb of green light emerged before erupting into Reinhart Prime and 3 lesser mirror images of Reinhart.

"Yes, now burn before the Dragonhead's might!" Reinhart promptly unleashed another firestorm upon the oily hordes.

Again, the Falcon tried to land on the butcher, archer and mage before immediately darting away only to repeat again, trying to get their projectiles hitting one another.

Meanwhile, as the butcher got itself distracted with James, the three lesser Reinhartmun rushed to slice off its limbs and spine.

"Hang on, James!" Reinhart unleashed a lesser healing wave to James' way. If the healing wave touched James, a shield of wind and mana would then form covering James like an aura. Once James acquire this aura, he would have vastly speedened reflexes and better protection against outside attacks.

Cadusa was having a good time resting on her sentient bed, but a sudden outburst of noise got in the way.

"Hmph?!"
She then got up and looked around, while also not forgetting to check what lies below her sentient bed.

"Is Reinhart... gonna be... ohhh, he'll be fine. I think so."

The zombie horde was completely destroyed,dying painfully in the fire abyss that was unleashed on them.The fire burned every last one to ashes

A strange pink glow surrounded the tower and the door shut,and a barrier appeared in front of it.
"What the fuck" said James after dodging another attack and cutting the creature's head off with his new speed.
The other 2 images disappeared,however they so with explosions that sent acid and bones flying.Due to his protection,James was unharmed however some of the acid and bones may hit Reinhart and the falcon.
James approached the barrier.
"This is not normal...this is the magic of The One Beyond the Beyond...and these were his minions.They attacked right after we met Adrianna...No it can't be.Adrianna wouldn't betray us.Still we should get insi-"
He was interrupted by a loud bang sound.He turned around and saw a large humanoid figure,completely covered in spiked armor and coated in void flames with a huge two-sided sword approaching them.
"You fought well.For that,you earned 1 minute to surrender.Use that time wisely.And don't be selfish,1 minute may be all your friends have" it said in a booming voice.
James' eyes grew wide.
"He wouldn't know that unless Adrianna did set us up...fuck we need to get in there quickly but I'm not surrendering to this thing.That's a death sentence for me and cat and we didn't survive this long just to die like cowards." he whispered to Reinhart. "I may be able to take down the barrier faster due to being familiar to the magic.However his void flames should protect him from most magic if you fight him while I'm busy with it.On the flip side,my axes should be able to go through his armor quicker due to its origins being from this world though there is no telling how long it'll take you to get the barrier down and I risk burning from the void flames and injuring myself on his spikes.That armor is durable,but light.He'll move and attack fast.Which one will it be?"

Inside,things were starting to go wrong.It was clear that they weren't planning on even giving them 1 minute and that it was just a distraction for James and Reinhart.Blood had started dripping from the ceiling and the beds grabbing onto Cadusa and Maria,trying to hold them down as blades started driving into their flesh slowly from below.The stairs down were blocked with a barrier and the room started burning.From the fire,burning skeletons with axes approached.
"What in the fucking hell" yelled Cat and immediately decided to act quickly.He used water magic to put out some of the fire and blast back the skeletons,while creating a water barrier around them.
He turned to Maria's bed ,threw a dagger to Derrick and ran over to Cadusa.Derrick knew what to do and started cutting his sister who was screaming in pain loose while Cat freed Cadusa from the bonds of the bed.The carpet started to curl up,knocking everything over and formed into a large hydra-like carpet creature.

A strange pink glow surrounded the tower and the door shut,and a barrier appeared in front of it.

"What's with this gay wall and its mist?" As Reinhart finished, he tried unleashing a huge fireball toward the barrier.

The other 2 images disappeared,however they so with explosions that sent acid and bones flying.Due to his protection,James was unharmed however some of the acid and bones may hit Reinhart and the falcon.

"Damn--" Reinhart darted away.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!"

Even with Reinhart's quick reflex, some of the acid and bones did end up hitting him and his copies anyway. The acid and bones would soon be morphed into phlegms and slimes. The falcon mutated into a slime floater, but still retained sentience and loyalty.

Reinhart let out a stiff, forced smile as he witnessed the living slimes clinging upon him like how he hugs body pillows. Strangely, the slimes were rather regenerative. "Hmmm... new flavors, huh? But it's rather gross. Ew."

"Perhaps... I will distract that nigga and you'll work the magic. You are one of the very few familiar with this world and magic."

When the battle begins, Reinhart would create more copies of himself. Reinhart Prime and a few other mirror images would run around while shooting corrosive phlegms, fireballs and cyclones at the giant creature, while the rest would engage the giant creature in close-quarters combat.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!" Cadusa let out a kinky moan as she was grabbed tightly by the bed, although she would still struggle breaking free as much as she could. "Stop it, boy!"

Her hair snakes, meanwhile, began zapping bolts of lightning at the burning skeletons and at the bed itself.

He turned to Maria's bed ,threw a dagger to Derrick and ran over to Cadusa.Derrick knew what to do and started cutting his sister who was screaming in pain loose while Cat freed Cadusa from the bonds of the bed.The carpet started to curl up,knocking everything over and formed into a large hydra-like carpet creature.

"Thanks, boy!"
"Oh, crap..."

She unleashed a breath of lightning frost at the carpet creature, in an attempt to freeze and shock it into submission. "Kneel before your mistress!"

James began channeling magic to disable the barrier.

The creature knew that the numbers weren't looking good,so it extended the void fire around it and started spinning around in circles,swinging its weapon at great speed and launching void flames everywhere.The flames would create a mini explosion on impact,then spread rapidly in a large area.
When it was finished it jumped into the air and crashed down,sending out both a a shockwave and a void blast around it.

"The punishment for delusion is death" the carpet creature said in a monotone voice.
At a incredible speed,it merged down into the floor and popped out under Cadusa,slamming her into the roof and dropping her hard on the concrete.
Cat wasn't amused and blasted a large hole in the carpet monster with pure void magic.It responded by swinging its arm around to hit him.Luckilly for cat he was still in his small,agile cat form and easily avoided it while scratching part of it's arm.

Reinhart and his mirror images darted back and forth trying to dodge the void flames and weapon, however only Reinhart Prime himself was able to evade attacks successfully. The mirror images could not dodge as fast as the true Reinhart could, especially not when Reinhart was powering several mirror images at once.

Soon, three out of seven mirror images would dissipate into phlegmatic explosions that set off electrifying shockwaves against the creature.

The phlegmatic shockwaves amounted to little against the creature's void blast and the shockwave, buttheyt did lessen the impact somewhat.

Reinhart Prime grabbed another bloody web from his pocket and tossed it at the creature, hoping to at least distract it further.

"Okay, boomer. Are you do-- aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!"

After getting dropped on the concrete, Cadusa went silent for quite a moment... But soon, her body would begin to glow brighter and brighter in teal, and as the glow went brighter so did her body went bigger.

"You don't!"

The concrete blew up as her growing body expanded against it. She was now twice as big and strong, but only slightly slower. A giant serpent made of frost and water surfaced beneath her legs and tail, lifting her up from the floor. A faint sphere of bluish energy emerged around her, and quickly brightened into a dense shield.

She conjured a giant whirlwind of frost before her, and charged it with powerful electricity, before hurling it to the direction of the carpet creature. The water serpent unleashed several smaller waterling lizards to harass the carpet creature, while taking Cadusa away from any more impaling attacks from the floor.

James focused intensely,trying not to get distracted by all the noise and impact he felt.

The creature decided to play Reinhart's game against him and split into several images.The web hit one of the images,but not the real one.The creature and 2 of the images now repeated the spinning action from before.Now there was 3 of it spinning its blade around and launching void flames.2 Others engaged the remaining Reinhart images,one with magic and the other with a sword.The last images blinked behind Reinhart,burning him with the void flames and trying to stab him in the back of his leg.

The carpet creature was entirely caught off-guard as he was distracted by Cat,and he succumbed to Cadusa's attacks.
"Nice job hot stuff!" yelled cat as he focused on taking out the fire behind the barrier he created.After doing so,he started disabling the barrier blocking the stairs down
The walls started bleeding and the blood formed into blood elementals,large elemental creatures that had a high resistance to all forms of damage except dark magic.
"Can you take care of that Cadusa? Derrick,help snake bae!"
Derrick was flabbergasted."Me??"
"You know anyone else named Derrick here?"
"Get under the bed" Derrick whispered to Maria,who immediately obeyed.Derrick didn't think this through however,as the bed trapped her under it and started pushing down on her.
He started trying to cut her out,but one of the elementals grabbed him from behind and started radiating a red glow around them.Derrick stabbed and stabbed but his knife didn't do much but delay the creature's assault.Derrick's skin started turning veiny and black,and his limbs started going numb
"FUCK,JAMES!!" Yelled Cat

James heard the cry and it unleashed something within him.He started glowing purple and his body was surrounded by void flames as he roared,his body grew in size and muscularity while his eyes turned purple.
The barrier started falling at a much more rapid pace.

"Oh, damn! Another copycat."
"Wait, what!? Mirror images at full force?!"

Reinhart Prime saw the blinking and immediately yeeted himself away with the speed of wind. "Whoah... nice try. But no, you." He began chuckling out of the blue.

His remaining mirror images kept on distracting the creatures, but eventually fell down one by one. Each one that died later would unleash a stronger eruption of phlegm, fire and wind. The last two eruptions were particularly powerful, the blast being a quarter of the tower lobby wide, shaking the tower violently and unleashing fiery slimes of varying sizes all over the place. Most of these slimes would flinch toward the creatures, sucking, burning, corroding and biting them once within reach. Though some of them would instead launch corrosive breaths of burning phlegm instead.

In the midst of the battle, Reinhart let out another chuckle and suddenly yawned... A loud sneeze came in suddenly, unleashing a strong shockwave toward the creatures. The shockwave soon morphed into a towering tornado of wild green flames and flithy beastly slimes. These slimes would come alive and began molesting the creatures as well.

"Easy job, these little bloodlings are mere weaklings."

The serpentine lady would try overwhelming the blood elementals with water, frost and electricity -- but her attacks did not do much apart from leaving scars and wearing them into moderate fatigue (her attacks had a little bit of dark essence, but not enough).

"...... No."

A deep darkness with purple stains would soon grew from within her chest and head, overriding her previous aura of whiteness. Much of the darkness came from her head and chest. As darkness gathered around her, her body would get larger with her growing horniness and hysteria. Somehow, her bodybound accesories had become further majestic and stylish, too.

"Now, I will put you little brats to your rightful places!"

Three large tornadoes of dark, bittersweet essence spawned before Cadusa. With her revealing body dressed in a queenly fashion, a sexy dance unfolded with arms, wrists and hair snakes moving in graceful slithers. Three giant voidwalkers and many other lesser shadowspawns would emerge from the tornadoes, while the tornadoes themselves went tearing all the blood elementals apart. The shadowspawns would unleash bolts of darkness upon the blood elementals as well.

Cadusa's hair snakes looked around for any blood elementals, sending dark thunderbolts at the bloody brats but sometimes also hitting them hard with the tip of their heads. Lady Cadusa herself simply stood there, marveling at the dark bloodbath with a big, evil grin.

However, her joy would not last for long.

Maria got herself stuck below a bed.
"Hey, gir-- What?!"

She gasped. Veins were growing on Derrick while the poor little dude was turning blacker and number.

"Hey, little cat, help that boy!"
The only other choice would be Cadusa risking to unleash her essence upon Derrick, which might bring unwanted mutations and perversions onto the boy's body.

Her voidspawns and shadowspawns kept on engaging the blood elementals.

Cat pulled away from the barrier to help out Derrick.However,what he didn't realize was that the barriers were traps.The barrier exploded in a huge void explosions,burning all the furniture,setting the room on fire and injuring everyone in it.Cat suffered the worst,as he was still linked to it with his void essence.The explosion caused the barrier below to also have a minor explosion,having the same effect on James and the cloud area,even destroying some clouds.It healed the creature attacking them though.
The worst part,was that the tower lost it's flying power and went crashing down through the sky towards a mountain range.

"Oh fuck" groaned James,laying on the ground and his skin somewhat black.

Inside the tower,cat had the same fate and was being tossed around crashing into walls and the few remaining blood elementals as the tower continued its descent.Derrick who was now free,managed to wrap his arms around Maria and shield her as he too was sent crashing into a wall.
Cat used some of his remaining strength to destroy a blood elemental near him,while another would take advantage of the situation to grab onto Cadusa to drain life and heal itself.

James realized he needs to do something,and started channeling into the void flames spreading around him,using it to heal and empower himself.Soon,his body was radiating and twisted and morphed as he transformed into a medium sized purple and gold griffon.He turned his attention to the attack creature,using his void vision to detect which is the real one and charged at great speed,pinning it down hard,he's talons digging through the armor and started pecking at the helmet,slowly breaking it apart.The creature kicked him off and sliced open his one wing,yet this wasn't enough to phase James.He casts a void shield around Reinhart,knocked the creature who was attempting to stand up over with his head,grabbed it in his talons and flew up,before diving down from high above,slamming the creature down hard with a huge amount of void energy.The creature's armor was torn asunder and all his images were greatly damaged and launched off of the clouds.
Reinhart's shield was destroyed,but he remained unharmed

The explosions shocked and wounded Cadusa to a degree, to the point her body was shrunk slightly and her powers weakened.

"Hey, everyone, are you alright? B-but I don't know... hey, little cat, do you think you can eat some shadows?" If the cat agreed, then Cadusa would send a giant orb of dark essence to feed the cat.

Some of her hair snakes came to Cat and the others. They shut their mouths tightly, and wrapped themselves firmly around the waists of the others, catching them in the air and later landing them into safety.

Despite getting weakened, Cadusa was still a formidable opponent. Her hair snakes shot shadowbolts at the blood elemental sucking her, before Cadusa turned to the back then swung her tail with vigor to bitchslap the blood elemental in the butt.

The tower had stopped flying in the skies and was crashing down to the mountains.

"Yikes! What trickery is this?" Cadusa rushed to push the upward walls. She did not really think through of this, she just answered her instincts.

"What the fuck?"
"Oh, damn, the tower's crashing too." said Reinhart before levitating into the air, "I hope at least it'll kill this bitch, at least. I don't know."

Seeing an injured James on the floor, Reinhart tried to twist the winds around James, to make James levitate in the air just like Reinhart himself. However, the attempt did not succeed.

Soon, Reinhart witnessed James transforming into a glorious griffon. "A griffon? The colors of majestic purple and glorious gold, for such a handsome creature. Huh, neat."

Reinhart watched as the fight between James and that creature unfolded. "Why would James target just that very one copy? Hmmmm... I get it, perhaps it is the real deal..."

Reinhart soon joined the assault, spamming firestorms and plasma energyballs to that one real creature.

"Jimmy, your wing! Hmmmmm..." Reinhart then buffed James with a hasty current of wind, increasing his speed and distorting any enemy attacks made on James. "Oh, and thanks for the shield, Jimmy!"

"Now..."

Most of the rubbles and ruins were lifted into the air, before blazing in bright green flames. A wave of strong wind came crashing toward the creature, sending all the burning rubbles and ruins flying toward the creature.

The tower started tilting,the magic that protected it was gone.It crashed down the mountain,breaking apart.
Cat used the strength he could drain from the shadow orbs to cast shields around Cadusa,Derrick and Maria,that would protect them from most of the physical damage.He couldn't cast a very strong shield on himself so.The tower was destroyed and the rubble and everything in it rolled down a large cliff into a forest.

James pushed the creature forward,sending him right into the burning rubble that was coming at him.
The creature was nearly destroyed,without the full protection of its armor it felt very weakened and took a lot more damage.James had enough and leapt through the air,biting its head off an beating the body with it for a bit before swallowing it.
He turned to Reinhart.
"We need to get down there and see if they survived.Climb on my back and we'll fly down"

"Shit... Cadusa..."

Reinhart turned to James in response, "Sure thing,"
He then climbed on his back. Once riding James, he let out a slight smile for a few seconds, before squinting his eyes and focusing on sensing the others' whereabouts.

James would circle closely over the mountains,till he saw some of the rubble down the cliff
"Shit" He dived down and tried to see an anything between the trees,then decided to land in the forest himself.
'Let's keep our eyes and ears as open as possible.We need to find them without something else finding us"

Meanwhile,Derrick emerged from the rubble with Maria.Cat's shield protected them from the would-be fatal crash,but they were still injured
Derrick coughed up some blood and sat down against a nearby tree
"Fuck" he coughed again and laid his head back while Maria started looking for signs of Cadusa and Cat

Reinhart began to wander around with James, trying to look for any signs of their comrades.

Somewhere not too far way but not close either...... a large, curvy blob of something rested on the rubbles, buried by some other rubbles. An arm soon rose from the ruins, it being colored in teal and adorned with scales. Soon, another scaly arm climbed out of the rubble but soon collapsed onto a nearby rock chunk. This arm, however, was littered with spots of dark blue amidst a sea of tealishness. A few rivers of blue blood flowed out of the rubbles, with some weird yet rather sexy smell permeating nearby. A few black snakes slowly slithered their way out of the rubbles, but somehow they seemed confined to one spot. These snakes, for some reason, could not or would not dare to wander past their nearby surroundings.

Maria eventually succeeded in spotting Cadusa and with all her strength as well as leaning her weight,managed to get one of the pieces of rubble off her.
"C-come on m-miss.Y-y-you can do it.G-g-get up" she said as she struggled to pull another piece of rubble off of Cadusa.
Cat was nearby under some of the rubble,unconscious and wounded.He didn't manage to get a good shield on himself at all and took most of the impact.His small body was hit hard,and the rubble completely covered and almost crushed him.
Derrick had passed out against the tree,the toll the events took on him,all the impact and a lack of hydration being too much to handle

"...... Too... heavy... ugh..." Cadusa heaved with what stanima and strength she had left. After Maria's encouragement, however, she began to shake around with more effort, trying to get those pesky rubbles and ruins off her.

She weakly lifted her arm again, this time pointing to a nearby direction, where the wounded Cat laid unconscious. "C-cat... first... get him up... Do not make noise... there can be dangers nearby..." Cadusa's arm collapses and she fell asleep again, snorting.

"Hey, I saw something," a voice spoke from the skies. "C-cadusa?!"

Reinhart.

"CADUSA!!!"

Reinhart flew downward and landed before a sleeping, wounded Cadusa. He looked upward at the skies, then looking at Cadusa again before sletting out a sigh. He then tried taking a deep breath, but always end up failing. He was sweating too much and his heart was pounding like it's hysteria. "Nooo... how come I... no, I must try again!"

He shut his eyes real tight, sat on the ground, took a deep breath and indulged himself in a daydream...

A scorpion was wandering nearby Reinhart's position, not too close but still rather near. What would Maria do?

we're hanging out in @WhiteFang's dreamscape rn
he's the boss there.

we were in a tower dungeon but that tower collapsed, and now we are in the wilderness. still dreamscape though so anything could happen, i guess

perhaps u can be a space marine maybe, or a warrior, or a rouge, ranger, something like that

Maria took a while to notice the scorpion,too focused on Cadusa while James was checking on Derrick.
When she did notice it,her eyes turned a bright blue and her pupils doubled in size.She screamed so loudly all the birds flew away.A ball of water shot out from the ground into the scorpion,launching it into the air.
Bright clouds started forming above them,and it started raining.
"Bright white clouds but rain.." the thoughts filled James' mind,his body shivering all of a sudden and his eyes focused on Maria.
Cat shot up out of the rubble,gasping and looking at Maria,who's eyes turned completely white momentarily before going back to normal,then she collapsed on the ground

Streams of powerful energies emerged from Reinhart's mouth and chest, heading all the way to the fallen Cadusa.

Right when the scorpion was about to sting Reinhart's butt, a strong scream echoed all over the place. Soon, a ball of water came in.

"!?" Reinhart, still channeling his energies, was hit alongside the scorpion. The scorpion was crushed to death while Reinhart was swept aside and gagged. Reinhart then spat out a large stream of greenish water infused with glowing mucus. He then fell on the floor unconscious.

Noises of rocks shaking and moving were coming from Cadusa's direction. She slowly got up from the ground, and let out a yawn. "Where in the world... am I?"

She turned her head and saw Maria.

"My... what happened to her eyes? It's all white!"

"Oh wait, never mind. Her eyes are back to normal."

Just as she got up and was about to approach Maria, however, Maria collapsed.
"Okay, now, what?"

She then wandered around the place, seeing a Reinhart asleep on the ground. Thinking he was just tired or something, she saught Cat instead, who was awake. "Cat, thanks for saving us. What happened to that girl and Reinhart, by the way? I saw her eyes getting white for a short while before she fainted"

"I think I'm buzzed" said Cat,looking at Maria.
"Reinhart got quickscoped by a scorpion" said James
"It was the water that hit him" Said Cat.
James approached Maria. "Looks like you are more special than you thought"
Cat sighed loudly. "Ok now what,all the humans are unconscious and it seems Maria is some kind of prodigy or at least has some unknown source of power within her"
James started channeling magic into Maria.
"Derrick has passed out,his body has given in from multiple different reasons,including stress,trauma,hunger and dehydration.He needs to be tended to.Reinhart may also need help,especially if it was the scorpion and not the water.Who will take care of what,and how?"
Maria started to wake up.
"W-W-What happened?" she asked
"Shit kid,we know about as much as you do"

Cadusa has been left more confused than ever after asking and talking.

While thinking and listening, she noticed a cave laying nearby.
"We have a cave there... perhaps we should get the two dudes there, and have a break there as well?"

Cat transforms into a large male naga
"I come to you now,at the turn of the tide"
He picks up Derrick and Reinhart over his shoulders.He starts moving to the cave.
"Oh so strong and manly" says James in a mocking feminine voice while rolling his eyes
"Can you stand?" he asks Maria with concern in his face
"Y-Y-Yes" came the reply,as Maria pulls herself up using his wings.
"Guess we should join Captain Macho" Maria and james start moving to the cave

Cadusa could not help but feel somewhat amused and even a bit aroused looking at a strong, manly, big male naga. She let out a chuckle and blushed a bit, before returning to normal.

She went to pick up Reinhart, and then after getting Reinhart, she followed Cat into the cave.

After everyone entered the cave,Cat put down Derrick next to Maria against the wall.
"Take care of your brother while I help see if that dude is poisoned alright?"
Maria nodded and made sure her brother was still drawing breath.
James was paying close attention to Reinhart.
"His condition isn't fatal"
"Too bad"
James glared at Cat.Suddenly,a rumbling sound was heard.
"Well,that's hardly pleasant sounding" whispered Cat while looking up at the ceiling of the cave.Suddenly the wall cracked and the entrance to the cave collapsed.
"Shit"
"No worries." James reply relaxed and started casting a shield spell.However,nothing happened.
Cat tried to blast open the entrance,but nothing happened.
"Magic is not working" James said,not relaxed anymore at all
"This is no accident,it's a trap." muttered Cat.
Suddenly,the floor gave out and they fell down tunnels and caverns.Maria and James were separated from the rest.
Cat,James,Cadusa and Reinhart landed in a purple river,with pink crystals on the walls and alien plants growing on the banks.In the water itself,there was nothing.No rocks or plants,or a visible bottom.There was suddenly a cave ceiling with strange runes on it above them,and no sign of any rocks or anything of the cave collapse.

Derrick and Maria landed in soft grass,surrounded with sparkles and small rainbows.Large butterflies flew around and fairies danced on flowers.The grass healed Derrick,and soon he woke up full energy.
He simply looked around wide eyed and confused.
"D-d-don't ask" whispered Maria and looked at the flowers,resisting every fiber of her little girl body to not yell "fairies!" and run at them

"Maria...?" Cadusa asked, and then looked around her. "What?!"

"Hey, Cat! James! Let's look for Maria and her brother!" Cadusa went looking around for Maria, only to found nothing. "Cat! James! We lost Maria and Reinhart! Damn..."

"......"
"Okay... now what the fuck?" a manly voice spoke from their far left.

"Huh?!" Cadusa gasped and quickly turned her head there. Reinhart had already been sitting there for the whole time, woken up from the impact. While the rest were not paying attention, Reinhart was starting at them blankly. And he did not seem too happy to be ignored into irrelevance.

"R-Reinhart? You are... awake?"

"Yes, Lady Obvious... and your many hair snakes as well. How on earth..."

"S-sorry..." a blushing Cadusa chuckled. "We were busy looking for the two little fellas."

"Ahhh, understanda-- Wait, what? We lost them? Then we must find them, quick!"

"Yes..."

Reinhart sprang up from the ground, but immediately collapsed onto the ground very soon. With his face buried onto the soil.

"......" the serpentine lady slapped her forehead and let out a sigh. She then stared at Cat and James for a good while.

Heaves of long sighs were heard alongside footsteps.

"I hope it's safe here..." an exhausted voice spoke in a rather depressing tone, before suddenly chuckling in amusement. "Ahhh... fairies... what a nice sight. Ah..." His voice brought forth a blend of childish playfulness and elderly melancholy.

A hooded figure slowly emerged from the shadows, and approached slowly to Maria's direction. A face surfaced from the dark. The face looked youthful, with a cheeky, playful grin together with a pair of sad eyes.

He put his staff onto his back, and took a deep breath. "Greetings, fellow strangers. I am... but a lost wanderer in this strange new world. Now, I might look strange or something... but I-I am sorry... anyways... Nice to meet you." He ended his greeting with an awkward smile, looking away from the two while moving his fingers back and forth. He then took another deep breath, "Anyways, how did you end up in the midst of this place? This place can be very dangerous. Hazards everywhere. Monsters, traps and bandits. And many others. Now, I do not know, but I guess I can...... what's the word... defend you from the dangers. Yeah."

Derrick moved Maria behind him
"How are we supposed to trust you? I'm going to need a better explanation of who you are..."
Derrick glared at the strange and started slowly rising

Cat got onto the land,a few alien plants reaching out and touching his tail
"Land-born scum!" he hissed and cut off one of the roots stroking him.That proved to be a mistake of epic proportions.
The plant growled and stood up,it was giant and towered over them.Soon the others came alive as well and started circling around all of them.
"Cat...you are a fucking idiot" said James and pulled out his axes

The mysterious figure let out more chuckles, but his eyes squinted more and his breath turned intense. Then, he lifted both of his arms upward with palms open. "Look, I gain nothing from messing with you." He lowered his arms, his left hand on his thigh and another hand on the back of his neck, "I... I am... I am Hazim. A shadow of a failure. I had to leave my homeworld, after it had fallen to ruins and rubbles... I was going to set things right, but things only went wrong even further. Somehow, I ended up here, right in this dungeon. A prison and a maze, perhaps meant for someone like me. Forever cursed to be lost wandering in this underworld. Forever damned from righting my wrongs,,, Forever burdened with shame--"

"Look out!"

A boulder was rolling toward Maria from the very rear, but Hazim fired a fist of purple flames punching and burning the boulder away.

Wicked chuckles soon came from there, before a chilling feminine voice greeted. "You picked the wrong cave, fool!"

She spoke again, "Well, my, if it wasn't Hazim itself..."

"How did you... how did you find me?! No..."

Several more sinister laughs could be heard from her, before she spoke again. "Heh. Some things are best left unanswered...After all, mystique spices things up. What fun would it be, if I spoil everything right away? Don't you agree?"

"You... you... No, this cannot be..."

"On the other hand, though... been making new friends behind my back? Trying to pull them into your master?"

"S-stop gaslighting me! Alright, whatever the hell you do, do no harm to these youngsters! They are innocent! They have yet their own lives to live!"

A few wicked chuckles came out of her again, before growing angry all of a sudden. "Maybe... you should stop trying to brainwash them into your agenda. You want me to go away, so you can turn their lives into living hell yourself - and get away with it, huh?" Darker, slower chuckles came from her before she continued in a contemptous tone. "Tsk. Stop pretending to be a hero. That's pathetic. Do you really care about them? Like, do you really care at all? Other than your master?"

"No! I was just helping people in need! I was only going to amend for my wrongdoings, my sins of past -- as much as possible!" Hazim shed some tears and shouted. He sounded rather sincere and sorry compared to the dark, sinister voice insulting him.

"Look, they got lost here, but they are only youngsters! And you know this is a dangerous place. Monsters everywhere. While I am lost here, why not I help as much as possible? I... I have wronged many and fucked up things, why not let me get things right at once?!"

"Monsters? Tsk. Pot calling the kettle black. You are one of these very monsters who prey upon poor humans like them!"

Several shadowhounds and voidwalkers emerged out of the darkness, slowly coming to Derrick and Maria from all directions. Soon, several scorpions and salamanders joined the fray as well.

"These are all your friends... your fellow monster friends... They must be very lonely and jealous by now. Oh right, because you went away to look for new friends, leaving your old friends to their own fate..."

"You..."

"Do not believe in it, for it is but a brainwashed slave! Run away before its friends--"

"Run... I... I'll deal with this alone... This is my problem, this is my fault..." Hazim turned to Derrick and Maria, "Run while you still can!"

"Mererinda... Whatever you do...... Keep this between us. Do not drag them--"

Mockingly, several tentacles and roots just happen to emerge from the cliffs and soils, pulling Derrick and Maria's legs...

And the other way out collapsed into chunks of rock.

"Hey, you!"

"Me? Nah-uh, not my fault! It's the plants and animals themselves! And blame yourself for not taking good care of them!"

"Bitch, why the fuck do you stalk me so much? What the fuck do you care? Oh..." Hazim summoned his scythe from dark purplish flames, "Guess we better do this shit then..."

"Damn, he's fallen asleep again. It would be easy, but now..." Cadusa moaned, "James, get that sleeping man away from harm. Cat! We shall fuck these freaks together!"

Cadusa then summoned several sea elementals into being, which promptly harassed the alien plants. Meanwhile, Cadusa gathered a few sticks and made them into serpent wards -- wards with glowing serpents on top of them, which shoot red bolts of lightning.
