Made in max8,I will animate this guy for wc3 using milkshape.(i didnt intend to make him look wc3ish so dont state that..)

Very nice looking model, looks very clean, and its low poly.

The texture adds a lot to this, makes it look very detailed, well done wulfy.

And for animation advice, you can always PM me, or ask for crits here.

The head is too big or the tail is too small, it looks like it will throw him out of balance. For the animations, I think you should use rotation keys only.
Nice, I like the face. =)

Okay, ill lower the head and shrink it abit, and enlarge hes tail fan. and yeah, he will have a up and down movement going partial underground and attacking by using hes horns and spikes as he charges out from the surface and thnx chriz and raging.

and oh chriz, im not sure if you know or not but i use milkshape to animate (you might have read or not) and that uses FK i think...which sucks...but im still eager to take advice and such for animation, just post it here.

Looks good, the finished skins looks really good, but I assume to get that textured effect on the skin you used some sort of texture overlay or used a filter. Correct me if I'm wrong though, if you didn't you are purely awesome at skinning.

What i did to get that effect was the use of brushes(i dont use them all the time), basicly different shaped brushes, the defualt brush is either a circle or a sqaure,I dont find them wrong since brushes are also used in traditional painting, eg finger prints, bristle brushes, flicking, cloths, if your looking for some brushes you can find a wide range here for download:
photoshop:http://browse.deviantart.com/?catpath=resources/applications/psbrushes/&order=9&alltime=yes
psp (they should all work on version 8+) http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/applications/pspbrushes/?order=9&alltime=yes

If you want to see artist who can use brushes at top skill, then see this dude(you see most of hes work on gw):
http://www.conceptart.org/?artist=Tinfoil

and in this image for one of my real life paintings i did, i used a cloth to do the colour spread on the bg:

although i find brushes of actual drawings like micky mouse or fairies wrong.

EDIT: Also for those that want to have a look or work on this model in milkshape format or max your welcome enough to ask for it or if you want, you can ask me to post it here as open source. Mind you, ill rig the milkshape one up first then release it. Just as long as you give credit still o.0

yeah, i like, totally agree on that.
Iv designed him to look massive though, hes movements will be abit slow.
Iv thought about it, and now im not sure.
Should hes defualt anims all be under ground, or should he have hes defualts as on ground and give him alternate anims which have underground anims).
anyway, here are some pics of him in milkshape, prob is, hes abit too big on the wireframe viewports =/.

I edited the tail abit, and its Uvwrap, since it was horribley messed up.

I don't know if you're aware Wulfy, I use FK too, never touched IK, so I think any advice I'll have will be beneficial anyway, And yes I read you animate in Milkshape.

There is, Jigrael uses it. I never could be arsed to try IK, I stick to FK.

ah, your work always...seemed so..amazinly animated i thought it was IK :O

anyway, heres the rigged model in milkshape, although i kinda got stuck on were to rig him so hes 2nd parent bone is attached to a large section....

aquatic skin hmm, although i dont like it much and the shell head thing look weird. the preview was shown with no light (basicly skylight or complete specular or whatever..)

EDIT: not saying my work is so great or saying you guys will steal it (guessing someone might hey, someone animate this model for me? or someshit...) just please dont steal this, im being kind giving this out as free source or watever, steal it or claim it and ill be really fucked off..as in..alot...

It is good though, it would be nice to give it a few variations to choose from.

Well this is something made for Camel's Hump.

a crocolisk... looks abit chibi, but...guess its fits better that way in wc3.
iv done 4/7 anims so far...hes about 500 polies from what i can remember...

although right now at this peak of the time/week, i need to get ready for my art vce or something preperation thingy project(real big) and i also need to fix and work on some models for a project im in, so ill be abit busy and..most likly very ticked off...
