DOTA2 or Warcraft III (DOTA)?

Which one do you prefer? I still prefer Warcraft III but many say it's too old which is true.

DotA 1 forever. I'm glad they brought in Kaolin and Xin... which were nice before people started coming up with retarded ways to play them and abusing Fire Remnant.

However, I want Icarus and, more than anything, my Techies! =( Completely fell in love with setting up Baras, Rikies, Clinkzes and other fag heroes and lame gankers.

Both have its own perks.

2 has great graphics, a hawt legion commander, nice mods, and the possibility to earn some cash, shop is centralized, awesome couriers, and there are some other gameplays too (Wraith Night).

1 can be played in almost any PC without much lag problems, creep blocking is way easier, everything is simpler, some soundsets are better (Luna Moonfang), effects aren't so eyecandy that it would already be confusing and many gameplay things that are better in Warcraft.

I'm starting to wonder if it's my resolution or something, because to me DotA 2's graphics are a sea of endless blurry. I'd prefer LoL's any day; although cartoony, they are at least coherent and look decently made.

Don't even get me started with DotA 2 voices. Wc3's beats theirs by miles. I hate how every single character in DotA 2 tries to sound funny and ends up a caricature.
Who'd want Bloodseeker's lines over the epicness of the Firelord's? "Open your veins"... like, seriously? Fire'way forever.
Where's the obedience and devotion of the Lich? Nowhere, he sounds like he's drunk. Storm is not too far, but he looked way worse half a year ago, I was completely horrified when I thought of my good old panda every time I gazed on that fat drunk walking around with that annoying voice. Fortunately they at least reskinned him and he looks a bit cooler now. Then, some characters sound alike, but I don't even want to think of more specific cases.

P.S. — I forgot to mention they also haven't included all wc3 modes in DotA 2. Where's mirror mode, death match, only middle, capture point, or same hero? Mirror match, for example, is probably even easier to implement than captain'd mode and I'm guessing it isn't enabled because the coders were lazy and didn't want to code some spells to work with multiple instances, such as black hole.

It's awsome.
Much better graphics than dota 1 and shared courier.
And Rui, if you got blurry graphics try to increase Render Quality to max and Textures to be puted at high (unless you don't have a good pc).

my DotA map runs in 1366x678... XD...

but really, I play them both... though not as much as I've used to... If I want to play with real people and the connection is good, I play DotA 2... but when I can't do that, I play DotA...

Plus my laptop is not that good, I actually need to let it rest for a while after 2 games of DotA 2

PS: I hate that shared courier, seriously... I want my courier mine and mine only...
