Anyway, does this mean we can make custom maps based on Dota2 engine?

Sorry that product is not supported by this section. Unfortunately getting help from this site is unlikely as a lot of map makers adopted a personal hatred against DotA Allstars blaming it for the lack of success of their map.

I believe the editor is in its alpha stage. If the editor has an easy interface, I could see a lot of people moving on over to that.

Chances are it will be as complex as SC2 so until you people accept SC2 you will probably not accept DotA2.

There will be several RPG maps made by this Dota2 workshop tools in the coming couple weeks, although it's in China. I think THW as one of the best modding site in the world should at least consider creating a section for it.

I think it's different,
SC2 and war3 are games of different styles. However, Dota2 and war3 are similar in style, I think it has its potential. But, whatever..

SC2 and WC3 are pretty much the same style. Only the style of assets already included is different.

We need to get some tutorials up asap so that people come to this site to get their information, not another site. We should have flash tutorials, Lua tutorials, Hammer tutorials, general mapping, etc.

Battle.net 2.0 + Laddercraft Community, nope just nope even DOTA's toxic community is better and were our neighbors at one point in wc3.
