I am creating a map in the same genre as DotA, and I've come to the point where I've got a lot of custom spells and effects to create. I've got a shitload of other things to do, so it would be great to beat some time by getting some assistance on the spellmaking!
To give a short clue of some of the spells, they are based of original spells like mana burn, flame strike etc. Some of them leave debuffs on the target that changes how other spells effect the target. And 1 is a passive skill that boosts damage, and if target is killed with this autocasting, the target will explode - and make an even bigger explosion if the target is afflicted with a different spell.
It's a lot of stuff like that, also some spells that are reactive; ie. they boost the attack speed, attack damage, and movement speed of the caster IF the spell hits the main target.
Edit: to clariy, all spells are created in a .txt file, with a brief description of how it will work. Your role in this will just be to write the triggers, or whatever is needed to make it work as descripted.
If you're willing, you'll also participate in 1v1 testing.
I've just recently started modding, so I have no clue how to fix new spells, but if anyone would be interested in giving it a shot, that'd be cool.
