Do sounds leak?

Ive totally forgotten, i think i read somewhere that they do?

Yep, they leak ^^
But if you destroy them, you won't be able to play them again :/

They only leak when you create sounds, and in GUI the sounds are pre-created in globals. So theres no need to destroy them since the sound is being re-used over and over.

The short answer is, in GUI they do not leak.

There was a thread on this not too long ago.

Everything that is not integer, real or boolean leaks.

You let sounds leak as you long as you need to use them. If you don't, destroy them.
EDIT: Assuming you were creating them through locals, that is. I've never destroyed sounds pre-created in GUI.
