DNS trouble

The last 24 hours we have had some trouble with our DNS. This means that (for some people) www.hiveworkshop.com wasn't reachable by domain, so many people didn't have access to the site. I talked to support and it seemed they've fixed it.
I thought this was gonna be the first time the server crashes, but no

Maby a Ddos attack some of the War3 B.net clans are mad at us for some reason...(they have the power 2 do it)

The domain name servers are running at a remote location, they have no connection with Hive's web server (thankfully).

I tired to access this site through it's IP address.
I couldn't log in and the top links all point to hiveworkshop.com.
It didn't work so well. Maybe you could rewrite some pages to allow for IP address access?

Whell that dosen't stop a dddos attack
its smart so it sees the domain name and gets the ip then reattacks

It's likelier to be fault of your local web browser software rather than your ISP connection. Try clearing your cache and cookies first, then try installing Firefox, Netscape Navigator or another browser if the errors recur.

Fortunately, the complications we experienced with the DNS errors were short-lived. Whew.
